i think the problem is that the team of everyone Carpy listed got worse after those trades. The Lakers (Shaq), Bulls (Pippen), Sixers (Wilt) and Bucks (Kareem) all fell from grace rapidly after these cats exited. The fear is that we'd trade away someone who in year two is showing shades of Oakley's work ethic. Remember, we got Oakley after his fourth year I believe. Give the kid some time, we don't wanna trade away a future franchise player.
