This year on this board there has been nothing but arguing about whether Isiah should be fired. There have been nothing but arguing about should whether Marbury,Crawford,Curry,Randoph should still be on the team or traded.Well guys tonights game really done it for me b/c I want all the names that I just typed off this team.Isiah does'nt know how to coach and he will never be a good coach so his butt needs to go.As far as Marbury, he is a me me me player that does'nt care a bit about his team and playing team ball.Crawford is kinda like Marbury,he wants to try and do it all on the floor without his teamates help and he also does'nt want to play team ball.Randoph was a terrible trade b/c this guy does'nt want to play team ball,he always is arguing with the refs when he should be running down to play defense,He hates passing to a open player when he is double teamed.Curry is the one that really makes me mad b/c he has all the talent in the world to dominate a every game but what does he do? He plays when he wants to play and thats every week or two.
So imo Isiah,Marbury,Crawford,Randoph, and Curry HAS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What about you all who do you want gone?? respect everybodys opinions and please no arguing.thanks
I would like to keep Nate,F.Jones,Collins,Q,Jeffries,Balkman,Chandler,L ee,Rose,Morris and Curry yes Curry. I've seen enough flashes of the player he can be he just needs the right coach and surrounding cast around him. 8 feet from the hoop their's nobody in the leage that could stop him a couple of outside shooters(Nate,???) and some strong rebounders(Q,Lee)with a little bit of help defence(Jones,Collins,Q,Jeffries and Balkman) he might become a reliable force. Oh yeah and rid our team of all the basketball cancer we have in crazy ass Starbury, no defence/turn over prown Crawford, ballhog Randolph and that scout thats coaching our team Isiah ****ing Thomas(please excese the language but I just watched the most sickining game I've ever seen) TRADE ALL THESE LOSERS AND HOWEVER MANY DRAFT PICKS TO LA FOR KOBE NOW!!!(I wish!)
Where are the Optimists?? Where are you now?? You guys were so vocal in ganging up and attacking other Fans who said this team is a wreck. The fact of the matter is you owe the likes of "MetroCard" and the like-minded real fans a huge apology for the bashing. From the very beginning us "Knicks Realists" have been saying that this team is crap and in need of major change in personel. HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU NEED TO BE PROVEN WRONG??!! 104 -59 Boston. WORST KNICKS LOSS EVER.
One thing I'm so sick of is how some Knicks "Fans" continue to make excuse after excuse for this team. I love the Knicks I have watched every game since the 1993-94 season. The fact of the matter is this team is the worst Knick team ever assembled. WHY there is a DEBATE over this I have no idea. I hear all this crap about Layden and how he was terrible, at least his teams got to the playoffs, at least those teams played hard. Isaiah Thomas on the other hand has only had success on the court. As far as off the only good he has done has been in selecting draft picks Renaldo Balkman and David Lee, two great young players that CAN develop into great ROLE players. Now lets look at what Thomas along with the help of that moron Dolan has accomplished.
1. In every single trade he has acquired a fat contract, uncoachable, one dimenisonal player. ( Steve Francis overpaid, Jared Jeffries can only defend, Eddy Curry can only get lay ups)
2. He brought us "Moral Victories." See I'm sick and tired of the excuses, the sugar coating and the nonsense put out by MSG and Thomas. They are fooling masses of Knicks fans into thinking this team has a shot at accomplishing something. I'm sick and tired of giving people second chances..
The following players will never improve to where they can have any kind of impact and should be cut, traded or bought out:
1. Fred Jones - He used to be able to dunk, now that thats gone he is useless aside from an occasional defensive play.
2. Jerome James - Garbage
3. Jared Jeffries - "Defensive Specialist." One dimensional defensive player he is versatile in what spots he can play 2-4. Has ZERO understanding of how offense is played. Cannot shoot, pass, dribble, post. Jared Jeffries on the floor = 4 vs. 5.
The following players show signs of brilliance once in a while but have no excuse for their inconsistency and lack of development:
1. Eddy Curry - Your huge ad agile at your position. You can't grab a rebound, block a shot, defend the pick and role. You are a great layup artist. GO TO THE BASKET STRONG... You need to JUMP!!! Enough of these tippy toe lay ups! As a 5'7 point guard who can get more rpg you make me sick at the complete waste you are. This was your year to come out and DESTROY anything in your path: all the doubters who said you didn't deserve a crack at becoming an All-Star. Instead you play with no passion and no brains. Take Nate Robinson's Heart and put it in Curry Body please!
2. Jamal Crawford - One of the streakiest Knicks since Starks when he gets hot hes amazing: he can break down defenses and occasionally find the open man. He has the ability to shoot threes as well as throw lobs for Curry. Then there is the other careless side: he palms, carries and/or travels with the ball at least 2 times EVERY GAME. I Love street ball and if you haven't seen the And 1 Mixtapes, Rucker League etcetera etcetera check it out. EXCEPT this is the NBA, wise up son and tone that sh*t down. You have all kinda of moves that are completely NBA legal and have the ability to beat ANYONE off the dribble. Yet after all these years on the Bulls and Knicks you have improved very litttle in shot selection and taking care of the ball.
I'm sick and tired of the excuses and constant defense of the indefensible.
As sad as I am to say it this loss made me happy. This team will never get back to prominence until we make that first step. UNDERSTAND AND ADMIT THERE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM.
So I say to all the optimists: YOUR HEART IS IN THE RIGHT PLACE. BUT PLEASE STOP DRINKING THE THOMAS AND DOLAN KOOL AID and WAKE UP ALREADY.
Everybody should know by now that Isiah & Marbury Job is open for next season.
If your company employed two embarrassing employees, you should know that their JOB is open so put in your application now. But none of the Knicks assistant coaches or players has stepped-up for this oportunity.
Now I know why so many DUM Knick Fans dont have a clue why Allan Houston got that BIG Contract. Allan Houston Stepped-UP to the Plate when Patrick Ewing was playing like shut your mouth, because of the trade of Starks & Oakley. Allan Houston made the Knick Team become a 8th seed to make the playoffs, and it was Allan Houston Performance that beat the BEST Team in the league that season in the first round (Miami). It was Allan Houston that took this Knick Team to the FINALS.
All the Knick-Players on this Roster refuse to step-up to the plate, and this was clearly shown in this Boston 104-59 Embarrasment...
i agree with all of you guys. i know it's early in the season but obviously there is something wrong here. i don't know what kind of offense this is. it's just throw the ball down low and get out of the way because the ball won't come back out. plus, i'm not gonna pin this whole thing on marbury. plenty other players on this team aren't doing anything.
i've been a knick fan for over 20 years and i sit in front of the tv and i'm just disgusted. i don't have the words for what i'm seeing. i am truly embarrassed to be a knick fan. it takes alot for me to say that but i don't know what else to say. i still support the team and i watch the games but dolan is the type of guy that the more you complain about something, he'll do the opposite just to piss people off. maybe if we all stayed quiet, then he'll make some changes. who the hell knows...........
Other than those few points I agree with everything you said about getting ride of players & GM/Coach. The lot has underachieved. They have talent and there is no excuse for their performance, and no excuse for the coaching, no excuse for the team the GM put together. Something has to be done.
1 of those blocks, im still not sure if it was goaltending or not but you sayin he did a good thing by gettin 4 rebounds? Jason Kidd, who's 6'4" is averaging almost 9 rebounds a game. Curry should fill out an application for the WNBA cuz he balls like a bitch.
I've seen curry hustle for a rebound, it's true i did see it once. I think it was the denver game. Last night I saw him miss several that just went right over his head. If he had even hustled enough to put his arms up the ball would have been his, but he's such a fat lazy bastard I was suprised he even bothered to follow the ball with his eyes as it past over his head. The Guy doesn't even leave his feet when rebounding. Like I said, one game I saw him hustle for one rebound. He actually jumped and put his hands up to haul it in. I have barely seen it since.
hahahahaha thats good. I saw Curry hustle to, but hes hustlin off the court toward the bathroom, he had to take a **** real bad. He went to Burger King with Jerome James before the game and they had too much to eat.
woah woah woah woah WOAH! wtf? are u serious?! u guys rather keep Lee Balkman and pretty much the bench instead of Jamal Eddy Zach and Marbury...man Marbury i would let go but Zach Curry and Crawford...NO! like WOW! SERIOUSLY LEE CAN JUST REBOUND AND GET POINTS OFF REBOUNDS AND HUSTLE! ok that is what i call a role player! i mean Curry even when hes not trying he still is a teams number 1 focus and probably the 4rth best center in the league...and u want 2 let go of that...i mean yea NO DEFENSE but ok we do we really need shot blocking so BAD that we will trade him 4 that...i mean if u guys want a shot blocker get a shotblocker but dont let go of curry...Zach wow...i cant even believe u guys even said that...yea i know he sucks in decision making when hes getting doubled but look at the numbers...hes probably gonna be the ONLY 1 FROM NEW YORK REPRESENTING THE NEW YORK KNICKS IN NEW ORLEANS THIS ALL STAR GAME! and crawford hes a solid player y let go of him? and Isiah situation idk man but it aint all his fault...so idk i would rather get rid off Lee than Curry ANY day! im sure coaches would rather work with the knicks starting line up than there bench
Teams WIN Ball Games!
not individual selfish talent inwhich we have in the Knicks Starting-5 lineup.
The Knicks have a Starting-5 lineup inwhich each player has never made their teammates talent better in their career in the NBA. Yet some Fool G.M. gave them a Big Money contract for never playing DEFENSE. And Isiah is brain-dead to think this Starting-5 lineup can compete in the NBA.
When Isiah threw everyone out of Practice, he should have FINED each one of the Players and his BUM coaching staff.
The Starting 5-Players Fine should've been 10 times the amount of everyone else.
I would rather see G.M. Cheketts Knick young lineup 1979-80 season Ray Williams, Sugar Ray Richardson, Kenny Bannister, Toby Knight, and Rookie Bill Cartwright 49 WIN Season, rather than any of Isiah Thomas BUM lineups over the last 4 seasons.
I see more team play out of my 10 year old Grandson Basketball team then I do from the Knicks "One on One" individual play on offense and defense.
Any Team that goes into a 2-3 Zone have the chance to go on a 10-0 run on Curry, Zach, Q.Rich, Craw, and Marbury.
I'm still waiting for the SHOOTER in Q.Richardson to arrive in New York, this is his 3rd season and all he has done was leave his oponent open to run in the paint to steal a defensive-rebound from the Knicks PF, and Fans wonder why the Peremeter is always wide open for shooters.
Q.Rich & Crawford is scared to drive or slash to the basket for a layup or dunk. What good are they when their oponent is doing this to them.
You know this Knick Team is desperate and Horrible when they have to depend on an inconsistent Jamal Crawford to score for a WIN in crunchtime.
I watch how many games the Nets poor shooting Jason Kidd has WON with taking the last shot in just a half a season, and he totals more WINS in a half a season with his poor shooting at taking the final shot than Jamal Crawford did in his entire career in the NBA...
