Suns looking like Knicks vs Pistons

Detroit Pistons: 116
Phoenix Suns: 86

After watching the Detroit Pistons wrip & tear apart the Phoenix Suns from start to finish with a huge 116 - 86 WIN in Phoenix. You have to admitt that game proved the Shaq trade was another bad move for the Phoenix organization. Phoenix gave up PF/C-Kurt Thomas & PF/SF-Shawn Marion when they could have kept those two players and went after the Nets Defensive C/PF-Collins, this way they could have got a younger running center that is team oriented for fastbreaks.
In the last three seasons you could have counted all the teams that beat the Phoenix Suns by 10 or more points with one hand.

This assures me that Colangelo and Steve Kerr need to be standing in the same corner with Ainge & Isiah with their BIG DUNCE Hat on.

Metro, MSG, and abcd, want your opinion.
This Phoenix 30 point loss to the Pistons looked to much like the Knicks blowout losses with a slow bigman getting back and into position. The Pistons attacked the basket before the Suns could setup any kind of defensive mechanism. Detroit beat the Suns at their own game, inwhich their prime unstoppable player that open the court for Amare Stoudemire was "Shawn Marion" (their system is missing his ability to score 90% on fastbreaks with putbacks, his inside & outside scoring, plus his relentless defense that cause oponents to commit turnovers,).

Alot of the Suns players started slowing down their movement to the same pace as Shaq and the Pistons took advantage of that to stretch the lead. Sounds simular to the Knick Players when they slow down their movement to the same pace as Curry or Zach and the Knicks get blown out. The Suns could have used Shawn Marion quickness, hustle, energy, and leadership to start a run in any of the quarters alongside of Nash & Amare.
I know the Knicks dont have a Player with the capabilities of a Shawn Marion that can switch positions from PF to SF at the point of a pick-off since KVH (that could've helped Marbury & Curry, or Crawford & Zach with the scoring), and the Knicks sorry excuses of SF such as Tim Thomas, Q.Richardson, Jefferies, and Fred Jones has all proved incapable of that job.
And the Knicks denying Balkman & Chandler 30 mpg to take their role and position at SF make Fans upset with Head Coach Isiah Thomas to the point of "FIRE ISIAH". But .... the Shaq for Marion?

Now that's one G.M. that could never mention any of Isiah Thomas terrible trades without Isiah saying "Shaq for Marion!". Shaq is no longer a top 20 commodity in the NBA, especially when he didn't make the ALL-STAR Team, and your team has 3 of the top 10 players in the league (Nash, Amare, and Marion.). The Phoenix Suns were missing just one player to make it a Championship Team? Joe Johnson or FA Ron Artest.

I thought it was a bad trade for Phoenix but i watched them play the Celtics and Shaq played well and even though he didnt score a lot he was setting alot of pick and rolls for the Suns players and he controlled the boards and played great defence.
I havent seen any of the Detriot match but im not going to judge them yet. Ive noticed Miami even though not winning have played alot better since Marion and Banks went there.

It's kind of like what Isiah did to the Knicks. Trying to combine a no-defense, fast-paced, fast-break team with a low-post, slow-tempo team. It doesn't work. Isiah initially wanted to make the Knicks the Suns of the East, but then changed that philosophy after he got Curry. But, you need to play good defense if you're going to slow the tempo.

A fast-break, run-and-gun team will hide a team’s defensive deficiencies. It looks like Shaq is trying to run with the team, but how long will that last? The worst thing the Suns did was getting rid of Kurt Thomas. If they had kept him, there would have been no reason to trade for Shaq. It's still too early to tell, but I really think this was an awful trade.

The Philly 76ers went into Phoenix and handed the Suns a 119-114 Loss in their own stadium.
The lost of "Shawn Marion" on the Phoenix Roster is gradually showing everyone that the Team was built around "Shawn Marion" complimentary performance with all his teammates since Jason Kidd was in a Suns uniform.
Shawn Marion played the 3, 4, and 5 position very well his entire career for the Phoenix Suns. Unreplaceable!!!

Marion Didn't Want Trade Until Kerr 'Diss'
March 2, 2008 - 10:48 am The New York Post -

Peter Vecsey of the New York Post has reported that Miami forward Shawn Marion didn't want a trade from the Phoenix Suns until he received a verbal "jab" from GM Steve Kerr.

Marion, who reportedly wanted a maximum contract from the Suns, was upset after Kerr told him that only Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett was deserving of that type of contract. [READ]

How much ASS does guys like Steve Kerr, Danny Ainge, Mchale, Layden, and Isiah have to kiss to get to be a General Manager?

Last Season Playoff series vs the Suns & Spurs was Setup for the Spurs to WIN at the start of go. The Suns WON and out played the Spurs in every position in that series hands down, even in the one game suspension of Amare the Suns took it to a Crunchtime last second game. The Knockout punch to Nash did not matter in that series, which showed Stern had his house betted on the Spurs to WIN. How much ASS was Steve Kerr eating during the Suns vs Spurs series was going on?

Steve Kerr statement to "Shawn Marion" about a Maxium contract shows how stupid he is to be put as a G.M. (Shawn Marion has been the top underratted player in the league), because Duncan and KG could not do what Shawn Marion did when Amare missed an entire season, and the team lost Joe Johnson to FA, all this bum publicity going to Steve Nash the last couple of years when the Heart and Soul of the Suns WINNING with PG-Kidd, PG-Marbury, and PG-Nash was Shawn Marion complimentary performance at the 2, 3, 4, and 5 spot.
The Suns was straight this season for the Postseason if they would have just grabbed Kurt Thomas back before the Spurs grabbed him. With Kurt Thomas & Grant Hill experience for just 18 mpg each, even the Lakers would've had problems beating them in a series.

I'm happy for Dwayne Wade and Pat Riley for grabbing on to Shawn Marion.
