I'm not giving Lebron James any credit for that win. The Knicks pretty much hand delivered that game to them. Curry left the paint wide open. The Knicks' 3 point defense was terrible. They might as well have paid me to guard Damon Jones and Wally Szczerbiak. I could do what the Knicks were doing;they left Wally Szczerbiak and Damon Jones wide open from 3.With that kind of performance on defense, even the Heat might've won that game.Lebron is just part of the LONG list of players that have season highs and career highs against the Knicks. I don't know if they hold this stat, but the Knicks probably lead the league for most season highs and career highs allowed this season.

but they play no "D" every game... from wide-load, to the black-hole, to nate-nate, lee "NO D", just about every player does not play D..

LeBron drops 50, shoots the lights out of the arena, has a fan rush down on court to give him a pound, gets a standing ovation from the Worlds Most Famous Arena, and is cool enough to ignore the game and chat it up with Jigga Man for the last 2minutes of the game; and you can't give him credit???

I'm not a LBJ fan, but even I know when to show respect.

Tremendous performance, plus he dished out 10 assists. Talking to Spike Lee made it interesting as well. I think he enjoyed the Garden. If isaiah or whoever replaces him does not try to get too crafty, we might have a shot at him. Let's just draft well and hopefully trade away bad contracts. I am sure LeBron will consider the Knicks as a team he could play for. He wears yankee caps and is boys with Hova. Although that might mean he could play for the brooklyn nets. They will certainly be under the cap when he is a free agent,

Go 1990s New York Knicks!
Guess What Marbury was the last player to dish 10 assists and have 50 points in one game! That was when he was on the Nets.

I have to agree with one of the Posters (by abcd) "I'm not giving Lebron James any credit for that win. The Knicks pretty much hand delivered that game to them. Curry left the paint wide open."

Lebron did his thing just like Kobe, Iverson, Dirk, T-Mac, and alot of other Star players that can score 40 or more points on any given night.
30 or 50 points is expected from a Super Star like Lebron James.
However, when you sign a 6.11 defensive player "Jared Jefferies" that defends SF and SG to the Max MLE, his job is to keep players like Lebron James under 25 points.
The Knicks and Cavs game was close all game long from start to finish, or rather untill the last 5 minutes of the game when Eddy Curry was inserted into the game to replace Randolph Morris.
Those last 5 minutes of the game with Eddy Curry not defending the paint or grabbing any defensive-rebounds made his teammates have to help out in the paint and leave the peremeter open.
