I have to agree with one of the Posters (by abcd) "I'm not giving Lebron James any credit for that win. The Knicks pretty much hand delivered that game to them. Curry left the paint wide open."
Lebron did his thing just like Kobe, Iverson, Dirk, T-Mac, and alot of other Star players that can score 40 or more points on any given night.
30 or 50 points is expected from a Super Star like Lebron James.
However, when you sign a 6.11 defensive player "Jared Jefferies" that defends SF and SG to the Max MLE, his job is to keep players like Lebron James under 25 points.
The Knicks and Cavs game was close all game long from start to finish, or rather untill the last 5 minutes of the game when Eddy Curry was inserted into the game to replace Randolph Morris.
Those last 5 minutes of the game with Eddy Curry not defending the paint or grabbing any defensive-rebounds made his teammates have to help out in the paint and leave the peremeter open.
