Michael Beasley measured at 6-7 without shoes, and 6-8 ? with. His wingspan in 7-0 ? and his standing reach is 8-11. He did fairly well in the combine, lifting the 185 bar 19 times, jumping 35 inches on the max vert, but measuring a slightly high body fat at 7.7%

Derrick Rose came out a bit shorter than advertised, at just 6-1 ? in shoes and 6-2 ? in. He has a 6-8 wingspan, a 40 inch vertical and ran the 3/4 court sprint very fast at 3.05.

Brook Lopez is a legit 7-footer in shoes. He also has a phenomenal 7-5 ? wingspan and an outrageous 9-5 standing reach. He did not do very well at all in the combine though, jumping just 30 inches in the max vert and coming dead last in the lane agility drill at 12.77.

Jerryd Bayless is a legit 6-3 in shoes, and he has expected has a very poor wingspan at 6-3 ?. He did well in the combine, though, jumping 38 inches, lifting the 185 bar 10 times, running 11.26 in the lane agility drills, and sprinting ? court in 3.07 seconds.

Kevin Love measured out reasonably well?6-9 ? in shoes (6-7 ? without), with a 6-11 ? wingspan and an 8-10 standing reach. His body fat is still very high at 12.9%, but in the combine he jumped 35 inches, lifted the 185 bar 18 times, and ran very well (11.17, 3.22)

O.J. Mayo is 6-3 ? without shoes, 6-4 ? with, with a 6-6 wingspan and 8-3 standing reach. He had the second best vertical leap at 41 inches and ran 11.04 and 3.14.

Eric Gordon is 6-3 ? in shoes, with a terrific 6-9 wingspan. He jumped 40 inches, lifted the bar 15 times, and ran 10.81 and 3.01. He plays like a great athlete, and tested out well too.

Anthony Randolph is 6-10 ? in shoes, with a freakish 7-3 wingspan and 9-1 standing reach. He is skinny as expected at 4.7% body fat, jumped 35 inches on the max vert, and ran just OK at 11.86 and 3.26.

DeAndre Jordan came in an inch short at 6-11, but has an outrageous 7-6 wingspan and 9-5 ? standing reach that more than compensates. He jumped poorly at 30.5 inches, lifted the bar 8 times, and ran the drills in 12.3 and 3.27 seconds.

The biggest wingspan: John Riek at 7-8 ?. His standing reach was N/A. Probably too long to believe. We?re told its 9-10, and certainly believe that.
Biggest standing reach: JaVale McGee- 9-6 ?.

Lightest Player: Mike Taylor- 166 pounds, followed by D.J. Augustin at 171.
Heaviest Player: Kentrell Gransberry- 290 pounds
Lowest Body Fat: Lester Hudson- 3.4%
Highest Body Fat: Kentrell Gransberry -17.4% body fat
Best no-step vertical: Patrick Ewing- 35 inches
Best Max-Step Vertical: O.J. Mayo- 42 inches (tied with Ewing)
Bench Press: Josh Duncan 26 reps
Fastest Lane Agility: Sonny Weems- 10.58 seconds
Fastest ? Court Sprint: Sonny Weems- 2.96, (Joe Alexander 2.99)

Others:

Joey Dorsey measured in at only 6?6.25 without shoes, and 6?7.25 with shoes, but had a +7.5 wingspan and managed a very respectable 19 reps off 185 on the bench.

DeVon Hardin stands 6?10.75 in shoes with a 7?3 wingspan, he had 20 reps on the bench and recorded a 32? max vertical leap.
Josh Duncan put up 26 reps of 185 on the bench, recorded a 32? max vertical leap, is 6?8 without shoes, and recorded a body far percentage of only 5.4%.

Patrick Ewing Jr. recorded the highest max vertical leap on the day recording 42?, but struggled on the bench, finishing with only 2 reps. His is 9.4% body fat was surprising for a player of his build as well. At only 6?6 without shoes, he?s between positions with his measurables and game very much in conflict.

Richard Hendrix tested out very well. He is a hair under 6-9 in shoes, has a 7-3 wingspan, a 9-0 standing reach, and ran a 10.62 and 3.27. He jumped just 28 inches in the max vert.

Love is actually a pretty good athlete after all, he runs the floor faster than Randolph and jumps higher than DeAndre Jordan. He should go top 5, especially to a team that needs a big man like Seattle or Memphis.

I hope everyone appreciates the work you put in with providing alot of info about the draft prospects.

Ewings sons got hops. I didnt know he can jump like that. Kevin Loves got hops for someone thats as heavy as he is. Looks like a very athletic class.

Theres 3 players i like: (no homo) Mayo, Augustine, and Kevin Love. I dont expect Lopez to be available for us but if he is he would also be a good player to pick.

Lopez isnt the most athletic player, hes more of a smart player. Deandre Jordan will most likely never be sh!t and anthony randolph seems to have all the tools to be a star except motivation/desire.

donnie walsh said in an an interview at msg.com that drafting a need is dangerous..so expect brook lopez to not be on his radar even if the knicks need a C which they do. Good info i also didnt know Pat ewing jr had a high jump he might be something in the future could devlope into a good player only a hunch. Mayo is still the stand out to me and he might be passed up by other teams because the T'wolves might go for another big man...i'd take Mayo over Lopez and even Bayless i like bayless and he was the first one i thought the knicks should get but if seattle passes him up they got problems. Bayless is a safer pick for seattle. Mayo has a history but his determinaton over looks all those stories about him...he can be a great fit for NY. Mayo still performed good under a team that was said to be a one-player team (mayo), a coach that didn't want him being the offense even though he was the only star and a guy like that can do better if you tell him to take over every game... and all the pressure of being the next lebron and he still put up numbers even though not having the best field goal percentage was on a team by himself offensively....he has a kobe attitude and that's what i like about him...i feel that Mayo will exceed bayless in his career.

Metro, great info on these players.

There is really only two players the Knicks should have their radar on with this 6th Pick.
1) 6.4 SG-OJ Mayo
2) 6.7 SG-Brandon Rush

The Knicks are situated next season with enough PG and SF, but the SG position has been the missing blank area for to long, since Allan Houston went down with injury and Isiah buyout of Shannon Anderson the Knicks SG position been empty.
Nate & Marbury are in their final contract season at PG, so the Knicks should be in the hunt for a PG around the trade deadline or the 2009 offseason. not now.

If the Knicks could trade one of their veteran cancer players to get another first round Pick the Big Sleepers in the Frontcourt position in this draft will be
PF 6.11 Anthony Randolph
PF 6.10 Keven Love
SF 6.10 Donte Green
SF 6.8 Joe Alexander if he can be reverted from SF to a SG his first 3 seasons he would be a Prize package to have with his versatilty in a rotation (I would'nt be suprise if coach Phil Jax or coach Pop pull-off something on draft night to get Joe Alexander, to make him a Star in two seasons.).

Deandre Jordan, who supposedly is a great athlete, has the same vertical as Brook Lopez. He is also extremely raw. I have no idea why some people are so high on this guy. Is it because nbadraft.net compares him to Dwight Howard?

Jordan isn't a better basketball player than Lopez at all, Lopez is better at him in every aspect of basketball. Being a better athlete shouldn't rank you above the better basketball player. Would you rather have Tim Duncan or Stromile Swift? Its rediculous these day...people are ignoring basketball skills and just going off how high a guy can jump.

Best big in the draft is JaVeal MaGee, thats just my opinion though. I wouldn't take him untill 15-20 though. I would take (realisticly who's gonna be there because Mayo,Rose and Beasley are long gone by then) with the 6th pick J.Alexander or DJ thats about it untill the middle of the first round. I like Love,Westbrook and Green but not that early in the draft.

The problem that I have with DeAndre Jordan is that he's unproven. His numbers aren't impressive, for a guy that's projected as a top 10 pick. He's only 19, so it's going to take him a lot of time to learn the things that he was unable to learn in his 1 year of college. Jordan will probably end up playing like Eddy Curry, but with more speed(he's almost 30 pounds lighter than Curry). The last thing that the Knicks need is another Eddy Curry, for various reasons that I've addressed millions of times.

I heard Deandre Jordan is the type of guy that will only play if he wants to or is motivated...idk if the knicks need a sour puss.
