Knicks should try to trade nate robinson so they can get another pick and draft ty lawson. Looks like the Italian kids stock is falling. Im not suprised. I dont doubt his offensive potential, its his defense thats a question mark.

Deandre jordan might not be a bad risk for the warriors to take. I dont see anyone gettin by the lakers anytime soon. If they're this good without bynum imagine what they'll be like next year when hes back, and when sun yue comes over from china. Sounds like Jordan has potential but he most likely will never be all he can be. Another player with talent but no heart, soft. Another eddy curry type.

The Knicks should try and get Brook Lopez. If he's already taken, then they should get DJ Augustin. Afterwards, I'd trade Eddy Curry and either Nate Robinson or David Lee for some expiring contracts and possibly 1 or 2 second round picks.

MSG33 Presents his 5 favorite prospects

#1 OJ Mayo - Defense, offense, passing, athletic ability: complete package

#2 Brook Lopez - Skilled Center, >>> Curry (not close)

#3 Augustin - Backup marbury for one year, knicks franchise poing guard

#4 Brandon Rush - sg/sf who can shoot well and a good defensive player

#5 Ty Lawson - Underrated pg who will make teams regret not pickin him

The Last 2 options on my list we would wanna think about trading down for. I also like Joe Alexander, forgot to put him on my list. He would be #4 but i would rather see the knicks focus on finding a point guard, shooting guard, or center then a small forward or power forward.

Rush is the kinda player teams will be like "Why didn't we pick him"?

Same with Lawson.

I think i saw Brandon Rush during the NCAA Tournament and he looked pretty good. Obviously saw Lawson with North Carolina and he looked a decent player as well.
I have not seen anything of this Alexander player but ive only heard good things.

Well if Mayo refuses to workout with Minny, Memphis and the Sonics we have a chance at him, but....remember Pat may take him at number 2 if (probably so)Derrick Rose is off the board. For whatever reason I keep reading that Riley does not like Beasley.

Chicage Rose
Mia Beasley
Minny Mayo: unless he really avoids a workout with them I can't see them passing on him for Lopez
Sonics Bayless
Memphis Lopez
KNICKS Westbrook: A defensive minded PG/SG with a huge upside with Nate Robinson like atleticsim and Balkman like heart. Not a Franchise savior by no means, but a step in the right direction!
Clippers Gordon
Mil. Italian Kid
Char. DJ Augistine: Remeber Larry Brown loves this type of PG

As far as I am going to go for now!

Another Draft Pick Would Have Been Real Valueble For Us In This Draft, Theres Alot Of Guys Who Can Contribute Deep In The Draft.

looks like pat calthes was no where to be found on you mock...he's a sure 2nd rounder.. he can dribble, shoot, pass at 3 spot wih a height of 6'10

All the beef that the JiYianlin had with Milwaukee and they still drafted him. The knicks need 4 teams to pass up on Mayo, gonna be tough. We need Love's stock to rise dramatically so that a team in positions 3 to 5 picks him up and we get a shot at either Lopez, Bayless or Mayo.

If we cannot get Mayo there is no other sensible picks. We should trade down or for a proven winner. A team cannot be bad forever. Even the Los Angeles Clippers made the playoffs one year. Danilo Gallinari is a very talented player but it would not be sensible to pick him in the top 10.

BCKnicks

Rookie
Mayo would be an absolute godsend for the knicks. We need a young talent of his caliber to bring some legitimacy back to this team. I like your mock metrocard and it does make sense that Mayo may be available even though his stock is currently skyrocketing. Guess it all depends on Miami and whether or not they want Beasley. Wouldn't mind seeing the knicks getting back into the mid first round either with an extra pick and taking a risk on McGee. It looks like that kid has all the tools and the drive to develop into a good ball player.

Somehow I see teams like the Spurs, Lakers, Dallas, and Hornets trading a player to move down in this draft to select the all-around perfomance of Joe Alexander.

Don't think Lakers or Dallas have first round picks.
Alexander is a very good player. He had a decent workout with the knicks.

As long we can get Mayo im satisfied this guy will be a leader in the NBA. He says he wants to play PG but u can put him at SG cuz he's 6'5 and trade crawford for a C with some skill. SOme people feel Brook Lopez is more valuabl because the knicks biggest need is a good Center. I like the Mayo pick...not sure about Seattle getting two PG Bayless def but Mario CHalmers idk.
