    Default nearly losing kurt

Kurt Thomas nearly got a chance to play next to Tim Duncan, but a deal for Malik Rose fell apart. The Spurs are claiming that the deal was nearly completed but that the Knicks failed to respond to the league in time to finalize it.

Im glad this deal fell thru. IMO The last thing that the Knicks need is another undersize PF. I don't even understand why Isiah would want to make that trade.
