Out of the 16 players, who would you make reserves?

I also agree that height is so overrated these days!
It doesn't matter even how many stars You have on the team! The only true thing that really matters is - if they're gonna play with heart, 110 % every game or just surrender like the Knicks did last year! You can win with anybody if You give your best every game! So give a try to those who are hungry for success!!!

Nothing's Impossible...

All Star
Every player of this four that You've mentioned unfortunately loves to keep the ball in his hands (Zach, Crawford, Steph & Chandler) Together they will not play an run-and-gun basketball system, because they will dribble the ball too much and give unconsidered shots which honestly we don't need! I can agree that healthy Q-Rich can me more useful than Balkman or Chandler, but IT never gave Balkman any chance to prove that he can do alot more playing like 30 minutes in a game. What success do the Knicks had last season playing with Nate, Crawford, Q-Rich, Curry and Zach? None! Loss after loss! So don't tell me this is our best starting five, when they already played together, even with Marbury and that was just a big piece of crap!!! I can also agree that it's hard to tell anything about the Dan-G, but when they drafted him with nr 6 pick, they had to have some reasons! Lee is tough, so he can handle power forwards like Duncan, KG, Gasol etc. But when it comes to Howard, Shaq, Amare then You can play Curry and Lee at the court! Phoenix played with a small starting line too and they where in playoffs every year! Just look back and try to remember - Nash, Johnson, Q-Rich, Marion & Amare? Is Nash or Joe Johnson a muscle titan? Marion? He is just a run-and-gun player, who was running for the fast breaks that Nash created! Crawford can be a shooter like Joe Johnson, Balkman or Chandler can be someone like Marion and Lee just have to be himself. He was doing great job, playing as a bench player, adding 10 p.p.g & 10reb r.p.g!

Try something else before saying it won't work, Marbury can be our starting point if he plays smart, with head, if he listens to the coach and keep the tactics and system, but if not he'll just have to be a backup for Duhon or Crawford. Give young guys the opportunity to show themselves, give more minutes to Balkman, Chandler, Galli, Duhon, Lee, even Mardy or Roberson. They will show You what they've got!!! Your conception is a bullshit, it will give You the same result as if You'd play starting with Jerome, Malik, Jeffriess, F.Jones & Starburned! Get rid of overpaid players, keep the fresh, young talents, they'll play with heart to improve they are worth more than people think....

:gony: I JUST BELIEVE IN KNICKS

Your conception is unrealistic..you want to bench guys that produced and play guys that didnt even impress in the fukin summer league like for example Mardy Collins shootin 36%. The first thing i mentioned is a bad statement by you, 3 out of those 4 guys can run up and down a court with ease, with a decent shot selection help by Mike D you'd be surprised the points we put up. Zach would play Center so that his slow ass would match any other center in the league, he's big body wise, and he can rebound in the post and knock down shots. Chandler is a jock?? The entire team was jockin up shots with no team chemistry...Chandler never had a chance to prove his offensive ability so when he got in at the end of the season he took advantage of it...he knew if he didnt do that then the Knicks would never have a look at his real game. Chandler has HUGE potential, stop overlooking that.
The second thing u bolded made me laugh...Balkman averaged 14 minutes per game last season..and didnt impress shyt he averaged 3 points and 3 rebounds and missed a number of dunks and lay ups that made me shake my head. He is a energetic/defensive specialist..THATS IT. Thats all Balkman has proven to be. 30 minutes a game???? Dude think, take a look at our forwards, and redo your statement...Chandler and Q Rich can do defense as well as Balkman and still put up numbers. Balkman is a bench warmer.
Third bolded thing u said...4 out of the 5 starters the Suns had were ALL STARS you cannot use an arugment when comparing all stars to a 23 win team. And they had Steve Nash as the floor general.
Fourth thing i bolded...Look at Crawford's body and look at Johnson's body...Johnson could post him up blind folded. If you looked at my starting 5 i had Jamal starting but I had physical players in with him to make up for his unphysical body.
Fifth thing i bolded....get this into your head...BALKMAN WILL NEVER BE SHAUN MARION, BALKMAN'S OFFENSE IS HORRIBLE.
Sixth and final thing....Look bro this team is not full of potential shaun marions and potential Amare's so stop having high hopes for Balkman and COllins when its a 1/10000 odds against them. I put Chandler as a starter in my starting 5 so it seems to me u just looked at Zach in my whole starting 5. U want minutes for every young guy, fine if you feel inexperience and no offensive ability will beat the Celtics, 76ers and every other team to compete with then go rigth ahead, we'll never win a game. Relook at my starting 5 and alternate starting 5 again so u get the picture of who will get minutes since u thought Chandler and Lee wouldnt get minutes in my starting 5. You questioned Marbury and Zach. marbury is the best veteran on this team with amazing potential and he finally wants to play so take advantage of the opurtunity. Zach can rebound, has a wide shape to bang around centers, and can score a bunch of point in return. I'd even start Duhon at the 1 and MArbury at the 2 for defensive purposes. Your lineup has one concept...energy/quikness......my concept results in qukness with all players except the center which is never quick, experience with Marbury Lee and Zach, offense by all 5 players, defense by Marbs Chandler and even Duhon in the alternate lineup, and alot of rebounding by both Lee and Zach. In the end, my starting 5 would be the best and most logical at this point in time and being the spot that the Knicks are in.
