Ya'll are nuts. Duhon is killin us because he is offensively inept. It is 5 on 4 when he is out there because unless he gets a return pass for a wide open shot, he does not look for his offense. So when the other guys like ZBO, Chandler, Nate are off, it get magnified because Duhon is not helping the cause.
His handle is 10th grade level, and it should be way better for an NBA pg. He has no first step, or jumping ability, or pull up Jump shot ability. And he is slow.
No one is saying Duhon is the ONLY problem, that is far from true. But he is not part of the solution. Or at least I hope not, cuz then there will be no solution. Seriously, he sucks.

You're right it does place an emphasis on offence but yet, he had nash, marion and bell who are good defenders. I'm not arguing about Richardson as a starting small forward he needs to be scoring 15+, but the point guard doesn't necessarily need to score over 12 points if he's dishing the rock in an adequate way, which duhon is. Duhons doesn't turn the ball over, and his defence isn't that bad.
He has nothing on marbury talent wise, but yet is currently a better fit for this team, as we have seen in the last five years, that marbury can't win with the players we currently have.
No its not. Do you watch basketball games, the other point guard will not leave any point guards, thus it is always 5-5.
What you should have said is that players like iverson, marbury, n parker drive to the whole, freeing up men, which duhon doesn't do enough.
His handle isn't bad either, he would be ranked near the lowest for assist to turnover ratio. is there a better statistic to judge handle than that?

Why is everyone talking about duhon?? he;s not here permanently. he's gonna be gone by 2010. If dantoni thought duhon was a part of the future he would have said so. Duhons contract alone should assure knick fans that C.D. is NOT our starting pg. Coach D is trying to feel this team out this year. He never promised us wins, he said "we will be exciting to watch", which isnt far from the truth. how can we blame the game on duhon when only zbo lee, n crawford were in double figures? q played 22 mins and was 1 for 3. How is cd's handle questioned? and he rarely turns the ball over? dosent add up to me. He is a facilitator....the definition of a PASS FIRST pg....what we were looking for. Duhon was the "best person AVAILABLE at the time" - Coach.

Zach, Chandler, Q, and Nate have awful games and yet its Duhons fault. Seems about right from certain peoples prespective. The Spurs were a desperate team and they played some serious defense. Thats the end of the story. If you told me in preseason this team would be 4-3 seven games into the season i woulda signed on quickly.
Its still a learning process for this team and theres going to be nights like this. As long as they bounce back tonight in Memphis i wouldn't worry about it.
Exactly. Great point. Cancerburians will say the Knicks were lucky on every win and blame Duhon for every loss and say the Knicks would have won if Mebury was there. This will go on all season long. Boring and annoying.
Question. If we would have won every game with Mebury, how do you explain the 151-259 record since he's been here? Oh wait, it's everybody elses fault, it's always everybody elses fault. SMH.
Bottom line was the game was tight and we had a chance to win...

with Finley, Bowen, and Duncan on the floor you must go the players being guarded by Oberto and Tolliver/Hill

we havent seen enough to evaluate duhorns all around game
in most cases, you cant blame on player for a loss
I see both sides of it, its like 4 on 5 at times with duhorn on the court. he can knock down big shots here and there but overall hes not a good scorer. However, he does a good job of not turnin the ball over and settin up his teammates.
there aint much more we can say. first couple of games he did poor against good point guards. now hes played some backups and hes done better. before sayin anything else i wanna see him more no homo. ill have a better idea of how good/average his defense is when i see him go up against better point guards.

neither is Duhorn which is why im pissed off at that bull**** excuse of marbury not being part of the future Marbury will **** all over duhon anyday of the week even Marburys worst year in the L will be much better than Duhons best, Marb's probably ****s on Duhon everyday in practice ....when we draft Jennings or Rubio as our future PG, Duhorn will be back to where he belongs on the bench.

i dont know how much longer we'll be over .500, i dont expect it to last long. im not tryin to be pessimistic, im being realistic. i hope they prove me wrong...
