Anybody else think we should have went to a hack-a-shaq on Rondo late in the game. In like the final 2 minutes?
this was a competitive game we showed resiliance and wouldnt back down, Chandler came to play and played some good d on Peirce down the stretch...we needed defense and a low post thread Perkins whos offensive game is no better then Rose's(not really)..looked like Shaq he had his way and so did the rest of the celtics as they cruised in the paint and got everything they needed and wanted down low we had no answer(they killed us lik 50-20 in poits in the paint...something like that)...and when we needed stops we couldnt get em...and we blew another lead...we played good though we came a long way from the 59 point preformance last year...we'll come back strong on Friday vs the Bucks...
Man Crawford was horrific. I didn't actually see the game but the #s spell it out clearly enough. I think the focal point for us tonight was the performance of Chandler. I was waiting to see how he went, and he went very well indeed! he matched Pierce's #s although he shot the ball a lot more. He needs to take a page out of Pierce's book re getting to the line. 5 more trips and it would have been 30+ assuming he shot them well.
I would love to watch the game regardless of a loss.
I only know of bt.davka.info as a download site for NBA games and it's practically void of Knicks games.
Does anyone know of any other sites worth having a peak at?
Thank you
Jefferies is a 6.11 9th man.... you put in the game in the 2nd half (Scalibrine and Big Baby type when you have KG, Perkins, and Powe) using a tougher defensive playbook plan than you did in the first half.
The best Jefferies can be is a Man to Man defender and the 4th man in a 3-guard rotation.... he is not the 5th man.... which is the rebounder and the finisher around the basket (Bellineli).
Dantoni comment on using Jefferies at Center....shocked everyone of Jefferies previous NBA coaches as if it was a joke comment.
The Knicks always played a better-game without Jefferies in the rotation (Q.Richardson too.).
Certain Knick players decision making on (offense & defense) both sides of the court are not dependable in the 2nd half of a game.
DNP Jefferies was more important than the DNP of any other Knick player.
Sign of the Apocalypse:
Mardy Collins outscores Jamal Crawford
Hopefully Jamal's awful play the past few games has shown D that unless he learns to be more selective with his shots he needs to be sitting the pine like he did tonight.
true Collins was pretty good today and Crawford is doing what i knew he would he saw his shot was good and now he pops some retarded shots his selection is still horrible we need to get rid of him...and we trade our 2nd round pick for a late 1st and draft Wayne Ellington dude is nice...ima update the draft thread soon so keep your heads up
I don't know which aggrivated me the most!! Watching the Knicks lose, or having to listen to the horrible Boston announcers.I also thought the refs was terrible letting Boston grab, push, shove, hold our players exspecially on randoph.

i missed the game tonight cause of work, but a loss is a loss. i cant judge the game tonight but from what i heard Chandler had a great game, so thats a good sign. We could have used jeffries' defense from what i saw in the ost game highlights. I really really REALLY hate Scalabrine now, that guy has done nothing but insult the Knicks. we need that win against milwaukee coming up, they beat us this season already so its our turn.
Crawford was **** today and Richardson was decent....the reason Rich gets more crap then Crawford is cause Crawford scores more while Rich does the little things required like he acutally makes effort on defense...and he will get down even if he knows he'll lose while Crawford shys away...all he is is a scorer and he's decent at that....this game showed positive signs we lost but we lost fighting we never let in even after we were down by 15, i say wahat hurt us was our size and our defense but the fight is a good sign...i give props to the knicks they lost but we fought as harsd as we could've on this night
That game was a disappointment. I know, we made up ground in the 4th quarter and the play was certainly better than last year's debacle, but for a good part of the game Boston's front line was Scalabrine, Powe and Glenn Davis. We were getting killed inside. D'Antoni apparently saw some positives. I certainly did not. But he is the expert, not me
Chandler made some really tough shots. Powe and Perkins kept putting in chippies. We have no inside presence at all. Zach and Lee were getting pushed around. The points in the paint spread was horrific.
Chandler was good, particularly on defense, but he needs a cross-over to complement his spin move. He had only one foul shot and missed it. He is definitely a keeper. I am not sure about any one else.
