Down by 3 at half, and still no Marbury.
Good effort by the guys so far, really enjoying Duhon's performance.

Maybe this is a little crazy, but could the departure of Jamal have affected Nate's game? He's not playing very well tonight, maybe it got into his head.

DANUTZ39

Benchwarmer
damn i think we shoot more airballs tonight than whole the games we played combined. We also play no defense like always but tonight we dont even rebound missed shots. that s what killing us

DANUTZ39

Benchwarmer
no offense no defense no rebounds lots of turnovers we should be down by 30 but somehow we are only down by 12 with one more quater to go .

D-Lee42fan

Benchwarmer
I'm trying to be optimistic here but 72-60 after 3 quarters played, the truth is that they are doing their best but we arent gonna win this game, were just too short-handed and it seems like the only one scoring is Duhon. Theres no rebounding tonight and the shooting is pretty bad, and no defense....... as usual.

El Cacique
QRich shouldnot be starting...he's playing terrible (one point as of the start of the 4th)

Bucks are up by 24 so this one is lost.... and same roster tomorrow at Washington basically drops us below .500

see how coach gets the new guys ready for Tuesday against Cleveland

new starting 5?

C - Harrington
PF - Chandler
SF - Thomas
SG - Mobley
PG - Duhon

Lee and Nate first off the bench. I hope DAntoni lessens Q's mins

Ewing

Benchwarmer
Allow me to give another task to Walsh: trade Q, NOW!

Thanks DANUTZ39 for the link, much better image than the one I was watching.

According to D'antoni, Steph elected not to play. He told Steph there's 30-35 minutes available for him if he wants it, but Steph said no. That's surprising!

Yeah, just saw DAntoni's interview... Steph didn't want to play.

WOW, more drama people, I see it coming... this is gonna get so blown out of proportion, just watch tomorrow's papers and the trash talking in this forum.

Steph is soooo hurt. It's obvious a buyout is on the table. I'm eager to see his side of the story.

what a brickshow this game was it was painful good thing i was out and didnt watch it picked the right game to miss...anyways everyone wasnt on their game they were all effected by the trade their minds werent on basketball today...Marbury refused to play and i agree D'Antoni did him dirty and he wasnt gonna lose his dignity and pride in letting himself play in emergency situations only...time for us to move on and prepare an offer for Ewing Jr.....and when do you know we werent gonna win this game? when Duhon was our leading scorer and had more turnovers then assists.

That is because of the recent trades. Lets recap those deals.

This deal brings us the defense we've needed to succeed. We are already good enough on offense, so we can still score, but it wasn't for offense. It was for:

Now back to the game.. The Knicks had a real tough time and were losing badly because of poor shots and no rebounds. I apologize for reporting Charlier Villanueva out, NBA.com said he would not play, this was unexpected.

Duhon had a good game, despite being sore. Lee didn't get teh number of rebounds the team was looking for. Chandler was underachieving.

that was a pretty painful game to watch; i mean im sorry malik rose is just awful he ought to retire or be dropped..fact i don't think Q is very good either..which leaves us with little nate who once in a while nails 1 or 2 shots in a row, but is far to young to be a leader of such a team with any hopes of remote success. i mean it's interesting to watch this 'learning process' with robinson and chandler but tonights games shows us how off the two can really be..it also shows us what type of impact randolph and crawford have..given we didn't have the players aquired, still...i suspect we'll gradually lose that highest scoring team rank as each game comes...but as its been said, we'll be laughing soon enough
