I like AJ's stuff but he is injury prone. I don't think giving him a 5 year deal was smart.
It is risky getting Burnett but if he can stay healthy and put up numbers even a little close to last season, he's worth it. He had over 215 strike outs with 18-10 record and an ERA barely over.
All you can do is hope that he doesn't turn out to be Povano Part II-
AJ has a fastball Carl never ever had. Basically Pavano had only one good year and the Yankees banked on that. AJ's career is a good indicator that you will get a well above average 2nd starter to back Sabathia.
Lets hope he remains healthy although his delivery is so filthy and takes so much effort that hopping he will be healthy would be quite a stretch.
when it comes to a matter of what stuff they got(no homo) Burnett would be among the top pitchers and when he got healthy he should he could be just that...he'll be fine in NY we got a sick 1-2 even 3 punch(CC, Burnett, and Wang....where u at Mets see u in JUne at the subway series loll)
