Default Knicks are finally a respectable franchise in the NBA.

I'm sure you guys could find the quotes yourself, but we have Kobe one of the best players in the league complimenting Robinson, D'Antoni and the opportunity in NYC.
Phil Jackson, one of the best coaches giving props and respect to D'Antoni and his system.
Kobe stated that people would love to play for Mike and play in the Mecca, theres a lot of attention and interest in New York being a destination for a lot of free agents.

I'll let you guys elab on this, reminisce back to the days when ESPN and all those clowns made the Knicks the joke of sports. Now the tables have turned so sweetly.

Thank you Donnie for the quick transformation that none of us thought was possible so soon.

Donnie has done a fantastic job. He's being patient, clearing cap space without giving up any draft picks. If he can find a way to get rid of Curry, he should definitely get executive of the year. It's such a refreshing change after Isiah's "strategy" of giving up all of our draft picks in crappy trades that put us in cap hell.

everything is taking a turn for the best because of one name thats gone-Isiah Thomas....dude was a cancer to the team we just had to let em go.......and now players are interested in NY and you see what it has done to a player like Harrington he is playing alot better and with more passion for the game then he has in a while....and D'Antoni's system and the NY market makes us that much more intriguing.....even though we sub .500 its still great to be a knicks fan again we're on our way to the top...

    Thumbs up

Donnie and Mike are our lycra free Batman and Robin. Currently the best one two punch in the league. I used to hate everyone dropping turds on the Knicks from ESPN...... ****ers... With these boys at the helm, things have turned for the better, and I for one am loving it.

The Knicks are fighters. They play hard, they don't complain, they have an inspirationalist at the reigns and they seem to be enjoying/relishing the opportunity as a unit and finally feeling proud to be Knicks. They have a chance to shock the hoop world in what is a gruelling upcoming month and a half of games.

It's a sweet sweet thing that 2010 has taken a back seat to the Knicks current success. We can only hope it lasts. Injuries still, could well be the bane of a potential cinderella season.

Look at this ladder. With Brand down and Cheeks fired, the 76ers are in a world of ****.

Miami are inconsistent and Wade seems to already be wearing down from bearing their cross.

New Jersey are lesbians and we **** on them from a high place.

Even Detroit! We can take those nut rubbers!!!!.

I stated in a thread called "41% say yes" that to consider our lads playoff hopefuls is a viable read and noone agreed. I still think we've got the means and the minds to push for a long overdue appearance into the post season.

There's a long way to go but the wave we're riding now may well barrel right to the shore!

Oooohhhh... I'm feeling a Braveheart coming on

Im happy now that fools from ESPN dont knock on the Knicks. Nate the great is only a slice of the cake for NY. I didn't plan on rhyming that lol.

Anyways Kobe just got respect point in my book for that comment. And hey, maybe Kobe can one day be a Knick! lol that would be awesome.

Credit also has to be given to D'Antoni. But Donnie has a brilliant strategy to win a championship in NY, and he's following through with it.

    Think about it:

1.) Donnie knows everybody wants to play for a winning team in NY
2.) Donnie hires the coach that all of the players want to play for
3.) Aqcuires so much cap flexibility the Knicks will be able to sign multiple free agents from the greatest free agent class in NBA history.

And to top it off, Mike D has HIS team playing better than we all imagined. We might be able to make the playoffs this year.

    Everything's coming up Milhouse!

hadn't seen a game like the lakers knicks game including the knicks in a long time. I can't remember the last time a suspenseful close game like that was played between the knicks and such a great team like the lakers. everything is seeming, slowly, coming together; given we shot very well from the 3 point line in tht game, and we can't expect that every game, Dantoni has the players playing as hard as they can and has worked wonders with what really isn't that tremendously skillful of a team. Duhon and his assits, Chandler finding his groove, Nate knocking some shots down, Harrington being player of the week, we have a good thing gooin right now...and were doing it all with out a real big man..as someone said earlier, i don't want curry, hopefully we'll play him enough to get his value up then trade him

yes, when people stopped laughing at my Knicks cap, you know something changed!!!

Besides the Lakers, Cavs and Celtics, who is the team that everyone now wants to see play? you know opposing teams are no longer gonna come in and think it's an easy job... now they're scared to show that they can't keep up with all the running!!!

RESPECT!!! FINALLY!!! and I dont care if we're losing these games cause now you know these guys can put up big numbers and beat the crap out of any team any given night and the future is looking very sweeeet!!!

Walsh f**cked up by trading Zebo in a salary dump. If the Knicks want LBJ here in 2010 we better be winning by then, Lebron is not going to a rebuilding team that can't win a ring. Gotta feel with Zebo and Harrington, the Knicks would have the nucleus of a playoff team for 2008 and 2009.

You would rather have Z-Bo than Bosh?

Lebron realizes he can go wherever he wants because whatever team he is on is a team that will win. Before this year, what kind of help has he had in cleveland? But hes still taken that team to the playoffs every year since 06.

The Knicks didn't have to trade Zach Randolph to get enough capspace to sign a top player in 2010. The Knicks were already going to get 22 million dollars in capspace from Marbury, 7 million in capspace from Rose, 13 million in capspace from James, 12 million in capspace from Duhon, and 17 million in capspace from Richardson, once their contracts expired. The Clippers are playing a lot better with Randolph, too.

Prior to the Zach Randolph trade, the Clippers were 2-12.
    They're 6-6 since the trade.

Yeah, we did have to trade Zach. If we couldn't trade Curry/Jeffries, and we wanted to keep Lee, Nate, Chandler, Gallo, and Zach we couldn't even sign one free agent in 2010. We can't risk not being able to sign anyone in 2010 if we can't trade Curry/Jeffries, just for Zach.

Yes, Things are def. looking different in NYC. Great coach and working game-system for Knicks. Curry can find something or some team in Europe, for example he would be great here in Finish National league We got Jeremiah Wood already etc.

    Go Knicks!
