First of all, it's preceding, not proceeding. Second of all, preceding means before, not after. Your post about Eddy Curry was after your trade idea.
Another thing. I didn't manipulate anything and it wasn't very difficult to expose you.
The majority of that thread was about how Zach, Crawford and Curry should be on the trading block for expiring contracts and/or draft picks. I didn't see any posts by you rejecting the idea of trading Crawford or Zach. In fact, you jumped right in and gave your own idea on how to trade them.
If you didn't think Zach or Crawford should be traded, then why did you post a trade idea to remove them for expiring contracts and draft picks? And how come you didn't express disagreement with trading them? You're the one trying to manipulate and split hairs here.
The thread was about "blowing it up" and starting over. Rebuilding. Which is what Donnie is trying to do now. Many people were for starting over when that thread was created, including you. Now you're not. Either just admit you've changed your mind or go away quietly. Because the more you post on the subject, the more you look like a hypocrite and an idiot.
Please, Walsh hasn't done anything special. Chicago, just like lots of other teams: Washington, Philly, G-State, Cleveland, wanted to get rid of Larry Hughes. Harrington and Crawford are essentially scorers, and we just replaced one with another.
Hughes contract has 1 year left as well so we traded TT and JJ for him; salary wise a wash. Walsh would not have traged for Hughes if Mobely was healthy but since he forced into a medical retirement, he needed a 2 that could defend. Hughes has great potential in the right system and given time to get himslef back into NBA shape. He only has 1 year left as well so it is not a great investment on the part of the Knicks if he fails to meet the projected potential.
Let Marbury know that the minute he gets stupid, he's waived and let him play as a back up to Duhon.
Marbury, I mean Starburry is a narcosist of the highest caliber!! He thinks he is Jordan or the prince of NY. He is talnted but nowhere near as talented as what he thinks he is!! He is a spotty defender and has absolutly no NBA court vision or a natural ability to conduct and controll an offense. He is a 6' 3" scorer! He is a very good scorer but that is it.... Good reddence to bad rubbish as my Grandmother used to say!!
Keep Zach, who, if you look at his numbers is definitely not overpaid, based on how great of a lowpost threat, rebounding and offense machine, he is.
Fist of all, you are way off base!! He traded Zach to the Clippers simply as a cap move. Zach's contract was on the books for another 3/4 years and would have provented the Knicks from making any significant signing.
While Zach's numbers are big he is a horrible post defender!! This is coming from a guy who was an advocate of Zach coming here years back!! I posted this 3 years ago that I wanted Zach, but the team was very different then.
Bring in Lopez to stabilize the middle, by controlling the boards and intimidating penetration, while also playing the pick and roll with Marbury, Duhon and Craw. You keep a solid bench of guys that include Lee, Nate and Marbury, and you have a team that can compete.
Crawford is a scorer and a very high paid one at that. His contract had 2 years left on it so we shed a year by getting Harrington.
I am adding that Harrington is a good scorer as well so...
I think you need to read before commenting!! What you were suggesting; keeping Zach, Marbury and Crawford was just stupid!!!
Walsh didn't make these trades because he felt he was improving the team, that stuff is said to the news papers to be politically correct to the players and not say that they are over priced players that are not worth half of what they are making, it was done to free up cap space period!
It is obvious that LGAY4PLAYFAGGOT is the real 13 year old.
LGAY4PLAYFAGGOT spent about 5 hours trying to find a post I made from almost a year ago, and he distorted and manipulated the post, on top of that.
Talk about a loser.
LGAYASS4PLAY obviously spends 16-24 hours a day on the computer. The minute I made a post, he came on the site 3 minutes later and started looking through all of the threads.
The life of LGAYASS4PLAY is a dull, boring, gay life.
From 12 midnight-4 am, he goes through the threads looking for posts to manipulate and distort.
From 4:01 a.m.-7 a.m. LGAY salivates at the sight of seeing Mike D'Antoni's penis as it goes straight into his mouth.
From 7:01 a.m.-9 a.m. LGAY jerks off to gay porn.
From 9:01 a.m.-6 p.m. LGAY is on this site lurking and making worthless posts.
From 6:01 p.m.-11:59 p.m. LGAY takes it in the ass from Mike D'Antoni and takes it in the mouth from Dan D'Antoni simultaneously, because family is very important to LGAY.
LGAYASS4PLAY has no life. He has no time for friends, family, or outdoor activities. He spends his entire life lurking and stalking on the internet while engaging in sexual encounters with the D'Antoni brothers and Mr. Donnie Walsh.
LGAY weighs about 600 lbs, and he gets his fast food meals, by lowering a bucket on a rope to the street, where the delivery guy places his meals in the bucket, because he can't go outside.
The paramedics had to knock down his wall, the last time he had an asthma attack.
A picture of LGAY from his myspace page.
LGAY going on the computer.
I have a life, so I gotta go. But it was nice ethering LGAYASS4PLAY.

I'll give Donnie Walsh a B minus.
I love the clear cap trades. You're not going anywhere with career losers and stat paddlers like Zach Randolph and Jamal Crawford.
I hated how Walsh even considered having Stephon Marbury on this team. He should have been waived last summer. I don't think Walsh did enough homework on Danilo Gallinari. He never saw him play live. That's unacceptable from a GM. I also did not like how Walsh considered hiring Mark Jackson as the Head Coach. Jackson has no credentials or experience.
That's pretty much it. Let's see how Walsh does this summer. He has to trade David Lee and get something back. He has to keep KryptoN8. And this draft pick is very important. At this time next year, we better be talking about King James.
I think the little boy is upset he's been exposed. Do you realize every time you post, you make yourself look like an ass? Quit while you're ahead. You're only making this worse for yourself.
hometheaterman, I really don't have time to read that long, confusing post. It makes no sense, and you can repost it, as much as you like, and it will still make no sense. Okay, Sarah Palin, take care.
And tuneraddict, the guy's reply to you was relevant. You said that he was downing the 6-5 knicks. That's true, so was I, but the team, at that point, was not what I, abcd, and many other posters, had been calling for. Abcd has been clear, for a while, on that the team he wanted, for '08-'09, included Brook Lopez and Marbury.
And LJ4ptplay, the thread you posted has trade ideas, and, though that could be construed as calling for a trade, it's obvious he's just making trades up, for the hell of it. He never says we need to or we should, in that quote.
Good posts by Metro and Kiyaman, impartial and stating what I've been saying for the longest, #1. You're being overly optimistic, by saying that in 2010 you're going to be winning a title. #2. Like Kiyaman said, we will we have nothing to attract Lebron or Wade, or anyone else, by the end, or beginning, of the 2009-2010 season, and we will have nothing to build on. #3. Like Metro said, and I've been saying, you build up a team in a logical manner: first, make the playoffs, then increase the quality of each position, until you're a contender, then maybe a championship is possible.
Lastly, I'd like to say that it's really sad, how people stay all day on this site, doing nothing but reading posts and creating their own, and flaming on people because they don't agree with them. It smacks of having no life and being mad at the world. I don't want to encourage that, despite all of the manipulation of my posts that's occurring on this, and other, threads. So I'll let you reply and not even answer the forthcoming BS.
Just wanted to add a message to H2-Hoe, you're clearly a follower and a loser in life. You're the guy that always wants to be down, a third wheel, and you use every opportunity on a little basketball forum to be that, to the fullest extent that you can. You're an uninvited pest, and that's my problem with you. Now go masturbate to your anime porn.
God bless you all.

The goals for this year were to get rid of disruptive personalities and bad contracts in return for serviceable players while giving our younger players a chance to develop. It was never ever about trying to put together a good team for this year or even next year!
These were the accomplishments:
Marbury is gone!
Crawford and Zach's terrible contracts are gone!
Lee, Robinson, and Chandler got plenty of playing time!
By sound and sensible standards Walsh almost deserves an A. The only important things he didn't accomplish were getting rid of Curry's terrible contract and Jeffries marginally bad contract. He still next year to accomplish those two things. The fact that Gallo didn't get a lot of playing time to develop was a disappointment, but we won't know what kind of pick that was for another few years when the goal is to have a core of young players ready for primetime and a few high level free agents to fill the remaining needs.
It was a great year for the plan, you just don't understand the plan. All you understand is the type of immediate gratification that got us into this mess to begin with!
Celtics got rid of most of their players and went from one of the worse team to win a championship in one year. No logic at all but it worked.
I've heard of Christmas turkey, but I've never heard of an internet lurkey, until I met you.
Get off the computer, LGAY
LGAY, caught in the act of lurking.
2 down, 1 to go. Crazy H8s, are you sure you want to rumble with the best of the best?
I have an impeccable record on the Knicksonline forum.

You have made yourself look extremely pathetic. No one will ever take you seriously or respect your opinion, That is your loss...
my grade is so high because im a 2010 believer. i respect your opinion but the knicks have always been the team with a bunch of overpaid players. yes crawford and randolph are talented but their contracts dont match their production. i remember many people even calling crawford, "crawful". and z-bo was not worth 17 mill per year. he isnt a good defender and at times takes reckless shots. plus he isnt the best leader for being the best player. i found these trades to be soo good so its surprising that i didnt give him an A. but thats where the handling of starbury comes in. i was never the biggest starbury supporter, to be honest i did hate on him at times but the way he was handled was poor, i can admit to that. and trading balkman is not something major to me. i like his hustle and intensity but his lack of consistent offense hurts his game a little. and im still going to be sticking to the gallinari draft. yes i know drafting oj would have been better but gallinari fits the system so im pleased enough with the pick. and i dont see why walsh would draft lopez at a time when he had curry and randolph, that wud just be too many big men at the time
