People who drink and drive are disgusting. He made the choice to endanger other people's lives, he deserves to be punished.

We most certainly CAN blame him.

Yeah, I agree. If you wanna go and risk your own life, fine, who cares? But putting everyone around you in danger is just horrible.

Just another example to add to the list of reasons it's good he's not on the Knicks anymore.

Then I guess we'll get a guaranteed conviction. Wonderful.

KNICKS JUSTIFIED FOR MOVING FORWARD WITHOUT RANDOLPH
    By MARC BERMAN

CHICAGO -- Ex-Knick Zach Randolph's latest brush with the law further justifies the Knicks' decision to trade their former forward.

Randolph was arrested early yesterday morning on a drunk driving charge in Los Angeles, pulled over at 2:25 a.m., when his white Rolls-Royce was allegedly weaving. The Associated Press reported alcohol fumes coming from the car. Randolph was released from Men's Central Jail in downtown L.A. on $5,000 bail.

Donnie Walsh's choice to ship their top low-post scorer to the Clippers devastated their late-game offense. Randolph was dealt on Nov. 21 ostensibly to clear cap space for 2010 and Walsh approved the trade even after Cuttino Mobley failed his physical.

    KNICKS BLOG

According to a person familiar with the situation, the Knicks were urgent to part ways with Randolph also because of fear of his well-documented off-the-court issues. According to the person, Randolph often showed up earlier this season to morning shootarounds in poor condition, raising suspicions about his notorious party lifestyle.

While the Knicks have nothing to show for the Randolph trade (Mobley retired with a heart condition and Tim Thomas was since traded to Chicago), they did not want to bank on Randolph as their leading man for the long-term future. Recently, Randolph said he felt he was better than Chris Bosh, whom the Knicks have targeted as a free agent in 2010.

The Knicks (30-47) will face Thomas tonight (8:30, MSG) at United Center. Mike D'Antoni has missed Thomas' spark off the bench more than he realized, but he has been hurt with Chicago with a knee injury, playing in 16 games. But Thomas, with the Bulls tied for seventh place, will be in the playoffs and the Knicks will not.

Their five-year playoff drought is tied for longest in the league with Milwaukee. The expansion franchise Charlotte would also tie the Knicks and Bucks if they don't make it, but that should not count.

Tonight is also the return of Larry Hughes, whose feud with the Bulls was so severe, he received an e-mail/text to inform him of his trade to the Knicks.

"I wish it was little different," Hughes said. "I still wish we were right there and playing a meaningful game as far as the standings."

The best move Donnie has made so far was getting rid of Zach and Crawford.

yeah it was! Randolph's still a mad baller. Mind you, his gravitational difficulties and poor D don't put him up there with Bosh. He's an awesome rebounder too.

But he's overpaid, over consumed and over confident.

And with Crawful, it's gotten to the point where Don Nelson is literally black-mailing him to exercise his player option for next year & oust him asap.

We meanwhile, have a decent upcoming pick & some money to throw around when it counts. Money mind you, for those that will win us some games (unlike Crawful, Z Bo, Marbury ) and not skittle anyone in their Rolls with a skinful of gas in the process.

    What a tool.

That's like blaming the bar(probably strip club) Zach got drunk at instead of blaming Zach. In the end, it comes down to the individual's resposibility to know when they are too drunk to drive.

Plus he's a millionaire driving his own Rolls Royce. He can afford a driver or at least a freaking cab ride. He doesn't get any pass from me.
