We might as well sign him.

I'm trying to put some seriousness in a joke thread....I think Walt should be on our staff to help the young players develop their game...he has great insight.

BUT he turned down an offer from the Knicks once already.

Is Charles Oakley still gonna be a part of the coaching staff? I remember reading that somewhere a while ago. He would be a great influence on Jordan Hill, David Lee, and even Eddy Curry. Imagine missing a defensive assignment and having to go back to the bench with the Oak-man waiting there for you? Scary thought.

He did?Darn.I've thought about how well he'd be a coach.I know every great player wouldn't make a great coach, but I think he would be.I think he might just not want to deal with foolishness. Also I think he just wouldn't like being hard on his players or whatever.Just seems like he might be too calm and nice for the job.I'd love for him to be on the staff.Defensive coach, anything.
