As many as 225,000 children in Haiti live and work as unpaid domestic servants(SLAVES)...smh...this is nothing new, just wanted to share this since everyone so happy blowing away dollars on pricey material gifts that are important necessities for the fam.

call me negative
**** this capitalist christian caucasian commercial holiday.
if u of color and celebrate, i can't fault you...we grew up into it without the education of our history.
But if you got the education and dont feel guilty celebrating this shit, then you got no heart.
Giving should be done all year around...to me thats more heart than one day....give to the less fortunate because thats where it matters most... See More

I got mad ****ing love for my people, even the haters and sellouts who want to see me fail, its criminal to see us, descendants of the oppressed follow the oppressor's traditions and just accept it.
Doesnt help when u got weak heart mutha****as who dont know how to fight...
We're ****ing Indians, not Cowboys...

I'm not saying all white people bad, there a lot of comrades out there with a soft complexion...hell, I got some white in me too, I'm not going to hate on that. I'm not saying all color people are good and innocent too because they cause a lot of setbacks and damage to our lives which is a sad thing. All these gang members, pregnant psychotic abusive teenagers, and unemployed drug dealers + all the famous artist out there could be part of the movement, instead they fall into the hole and never find a way out

im watching CNN....damn these *****s dont read the goddamn Bibles? I been in catholic school all my life.... "Jesus was born when? In the middle of winter? Lot of Shepherds out watching their flocks around that time of year in Bethlehem? No, because they... See More?d be freezing their ****ing asses off."

read this

"Even the date of Christmas, December 25, was borrowed from another religion. At the time Christmas was created in AD 320, Mithraism was very popular. The early Christian church had gotten tired of their futile efforts to stop people celebrating the solstice and the birthday of Mithras, the Persian sun god. Mithras? birthday was December 25. So the pope at the time decided to make Jesus? official birthday coincide with Mithras? birthday. No one knows what time of year Jesus was actually born but there is evidence to suggest that it was in midsummer."

"he Christmas tree is derived from several solstice traditions. The Romans decked their halls with garlands of laurel and placed candles in live trees to decorate for the celebration of Saturnalia. In Scandinavia, they hung apples from evergreen trees at the winder solstice to remind themselves that spring and summer will come again. The evergreen ... See Moretree was the special plant of their sun god, Baldor.

The practice of exchanging gifts at a winter celebration is also pre-Christian and is from the Roman Saturnalia. They would exchange good-luck gifts called Stenae (lucky fruits). They also would have a big feast just like we do today.

Mistletoe is from an ancient Druid custom at the winter solstice. Mistletoe was considered a divine plant and it symbolized love and peace. The tradition of kissing under the mistletoe is Druid in origin."

And **** Easter too.

Dude...you should be fortunate that you live in America. I know this country has it's secrets, corruption, and flawed laws that get abused by authority, but you have to admit that you have it better than most in the world.

I'm a christian so u understand were I'm coming at with you saying **** christmas...im coming from a point of view that thinks you just mad at people for trying to find happiness in a world of hell.

I did not read most of your post...just the title and the first couple sentences so excuse me if this post sounds ignorant but anyone who says **** christmas just does not understand the holiday and hates on anyone who does.

Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus and the influence he had in the world and to others. The gifts isn't even part of the holiday, the gifts was the "american" way to celebrate christmas. No one rejects it so it is accepted and no one hates getting free gifts.
And Christmas should actually be in August, but the Romans did change it to December because of the pagan ruler at the time.

Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year.

Thats where everything fails.
Its not just about me.
Thats where Americans fail...its all about me me me.

Theres obviously an unlimited ammount of opportunity in the America, thats great.

But check out this quote

" It is impossible for capitalism to survive, primarily becausethe system of capitalism needs some blood to suck. Now it has become more cowardly, like the vulture, and it can only suck the blood of the helpless. As the nations of the world free themselves, then capitalism has less victims, less to suck, and it becomes ...weaker and weaker. It?s only a matter of time in my opinion before it will collapse completely."

If I'm blessed to live in America, who suffering for my blessings?

I'm not down with that, I'll never be no matter how much money I make.
I'm just tired of faking this jolly happiness...ignorance is bliss.

You can have an attitude were you should be pissed off all the time but how can you help others if your constantly negative?

Everyone knows the world is in chaos but there are safe havens. I consider any country that gives someone the liberty to live in a democracy a safe haven. America has its black projects, shady criminals that probably run this country, but at least there is no martial law or mass killings on our own people.

Put it this way....would you rather live in America or Sierra Leone?

You said there are obviously opportunities here, those opportunities separate us from any place that has it's limits.

Fact is that we can't control were Capitalism is going in this country and I personally think that Barack Obama is a Socialist with some grey areas. So in a way your quote is coming true.

Freedom in capitalist society always remains about the same as it was in ancient Greek republics: Freedom for slave owners.

I understand, but in the end these opportunities "we" have are at the expense of other's quality of life. People do NOT have to suffer, for us to have opportunity. This is my point and my mentality, its nothing special to give material objects to close ones...its not bold enough.

Boycotting Christmas would be BOLD, send a message to the government there are people in need in the world.

I don't buy into this opportunity nonsense anyway.

Hey man I am all for humanitarian work. I am even studying in a field to do that kind of work so I feel you on helping others that are less fortunate.

It's sad to see many countries in the world with all their money and then there are countries suffering for no reason, or maybe because of the big nations like America. Making world powers give to the less fortunate is like arguing with someone who is unreasonable. They will never do it. Greed runs this world and power is the influence.

The best you can do is help out individually. I dont know what else to say about this topic. It gets me upset just thinking about all the kids in Darfur getting no help from the U.N.
