I personally would have called Pat Riley and if he wasnt interested then Mike Fratello but, someone who demands hard work and motivates his team Lenny doesnt seem to do those things.

I don't feel Lenny has really done enough I dont really see him being a long term coach for the knicks. And im not trying to be hard on him but he is the winningest and lossingest coach a 506 winning percentage, doesnt that mean he has just coached a lot of games? Out of his 30 something years of coaching hes only won one time so he doesnt really impress me, I think after next season Isiah will get another coach or maybe he will take over
yea... we needed 2 start off w a good coach that can take hte heat and build the team a lil so that isiah can then step in and take the glory... just my spin on things :P
I agree. He definately would not come back as coach. He would also want Isiah's job which is the reason he left in the first place. The Knicks would not even consider rehiring him IMO.Originally Posted by frankwilliams
