Ahhhhhh the "?". Yes well, that'd be a different story. In an ideal situation the Hornets trade would happen. But with new ownership came a new viewpoint (or so I read) that playing Collison and Paul together was priority.
With Curry, matching salaries isn't necessary either, so that can take on a lot of forms in trade scenarios.
Still, I've gotta go with Bosh & James over Lee & James because it's a better match regardless of Hollinger and his stats. He just adds demensions and versatilty that we couldn't get out of Lee and Thomas. That's how I see it anyhoo.
Re Collison, I'm still a Douglas faithful after last year. I think both he and Gallo are on their way up. Collison is def the better passer and handler out of the 2 though. Douglas takes the cake on defense.
Chris bosh is the perfect compliment for Lebron. his style of play and skill set fit in perfectly with Lebron. and with Gallo dropping 3's, they'd have a great offense.
I personally agree with Hollinger on the comparisons.
And having a Lebron-DLee combo would make D Lee average ridiculous numbers, especially if he was staring at PF...my imagination is running wild.
I heard a poster ask why would we get Dirk when we have Gallo, well I would answer why not have the top player you are compared to, help your team out tremendously and at the same time help you develop and polish your offensive game, since you have the same style?
Lebron, Bosh, Amare, Dirk are the only guys now worth a max contract. Joe Johnson fell off that wagon with his dismal playoff performance averaging 11 points a game.
