Agreed. It's easier to learn on stick then learn auto and then learn stick after. My first car was a 2 door Saab 900 turbo with stick and it was a ton of fun! Go for it!

BTW, knowing how to drive stick could come in handy in an emergency where the only car is manual.

Yeah this is all pretty much what I've been hearing. I know how to drive, learned on all autos. I can't imagine it being all that difficult.

just imagine why there is stickshift in a race car ? it's a lot better.... or paddle shift, automatic gearbox is for OLD FAGS how boring could be: brake, accelerate, brake. Try feel the power on max rpm on 3rd gear or take smb after reduction, put the pedal to the metal GO !
