Should the knicks be looking into Dampier??

Since most of you guys think we need help rebounding.. should we consider Dampier?

He played for dallas so is familiar with a fast pace offense and scoring..

no very slow old centers

I used to watch him play in GS. He was terrible. Absolutely terrible.

Erik Dampier is the bad Isiah move that got away from us. The contract he just played out was nearly given to him by our then GM Isiah Thomas....in fact he wouldve likely still on the books this year because Isiah probaly would not made his last year a team option.

Erik Dampier absolutley sucks!!!! I mean he is just slightly better than Jerome James in terms of ability.

Shaq thought Dampier should play in WNBA. Not NBA

Not only does he not play for Dallas, but he's a shittier version of Turiaf.

No. Dampier is broken down and i dont think is athletic enough and definetly notttttt a good fit for D`antonis style of system. So yeah, I think Dampier would be like a Jerome James signing. I dont think Dampier is worth it. just be plain horrible playing for Mike`s system. Dampier is like So, Yeah I think there are better players out there who can make a more significant impact than Dampier and fit D antonis system of play.

We shouldve renegotiated a contract with Earl Barron.
We have the Fowards in Amare/Turiaf/Randolph/Gallo/Chandler
so we only need a bigman with experience holding down the center spot
with talent in halfcourt/uptempo setting plays. And D.League product Earl
Barron has that experience for 24 mpg.

We have a bigger problem in our starting backcourt with Felton as our
primary starting PG. Felton is not worthy of 30 mpg, he is a decent 24 mpg PG.
Wilson Chandler is a primary starting SF with little skills of a backcourt SG.
Felton plays a decent game with Toney Douglas in the lineup with him.
The sameway Duhon played a decent game with Nate in the lineup with him.
But giving Felton or Duhon the same amount of playingtime minutes u would
give to Steve Nash is considered TANKING.

No. Dampier is not what this team needs. Someone already on the Knicks will need to improve their game.
