Looks like another season of late 4th quarter gag jobs by the Knicks. This team would blow a 20 point 4th quarter lead to the New York Liberty if they had the opportunity to do so.Can't make free throws when it matters and can't close out a game at home after playing good for 3 quarters. You're not going to get those late game calls at home when you've sucked for the last 10 years.

Turiaf's two bricks at the foul line destroyed the momentum for the Knicks and was the turning point of the game for the Blazers. The Blazers didn't beat the Knicks, the Knicks handed the game to them.

Ah man, what a disappointing finish. They looked pretty great for a while there.

These ones that get away will be the difference between playoffs or nothing.

Well at least it was another moral victory for D'antoni.

The Knicks have lead the league in moral victories for the past 2 years.

How does Amar'e end up with that shot? He's made a couple this season, but come on.

Oh well. Frustrating. Much to improve.

Knicks basketball at is best

To be fair... It was tied and then the refs decided who the winner would be.

How was it a foul on Turiaf (against Aldridge) but not a foul on STAT (on Camby).

Our star player drives, gets stiff-armed by Camby who alters his path (foul #1) and then raises hand and slaps it down (foul #2). Fouled twice.

Playing ball since a kid... 9 times out of 10 when you reach in the whistle blows.

Oh well. So glad Stern has a rookie ref at MSG tonight reffing his 1st game.

PATHETIC.

POR did nothing to win this. Refs handed them those final points. Disgrace.

This is why NBA = Wrestling. Totally fixed.

Camby didn't do that much compared to Turiaf.

The Knicks didn't win this game. No excuses. We shouldn't have relied on a call in the favor of us to win this.

Amare not realizing it was a zone and constantly turning the ball over is what killed us.. Along with plenty of bad decisions and some missed calls down the stretch. Yeah don't blame the refs.

Knicks lost b/c of the missed free throws and fact Amar'e and Chandler did nothing in the 4th.

Still, score is tied... Aldridge and Turiaf both scrambling for position.... NO FOUL. You don't want games decided by the refs... That's what happened tonight.

A questionable call gives Port the lead. Simple as that. after that, Knicks were behind and scrambling. There was no foul on Turiaf.

But Stat was fouled. He drove left and Camby put his arm on him and that is a foul... Hand checking isn't allowed anymore. AND, even if reach in was clean... That's always called a foul.... Especially if it's a star nplayer at home.

You think Kobe or MJ don't get the benefit of the whistle?

Knicks gave this away. SURE. But the end result was decided by the refs not the players.

POR DIDN'T MAKE A SHOT EITHER to still the win. The hit free throws.

The call should be right no matter if the player is a star or not, home or not.

The NBA calls fouls for touching the opposing team these days. We might have gotten free baskets too with one play with Douglas. The refs make some bad calls, but this game was pretty fair.

What we need to do is play like we did in the last few minutes of the game last night. Push the ball with extra speed, even if we have a nine point lead in the last few minutes. That strategy might be at least one way of sealing a win.

Another decent game by the Knicks taking it down the stretch to crunchtime
The 2nd crunchtime loss on time out plays written by Dantoni

Blazers started running a Zone to stop Amare, and our 9 point lead disapeared. Our offense was suppose to go through Felton/Douglas/Fields/Chandler in screening 2 point jumpers on the Zone.
Why was Felton & Amare running a pick n roll in a defensive zone, when they couldve kicked it out for a 2-ball jumper
