    Default the PO

i think that NY will not make the play offs! the teams before us are better!!
and it is not necesary to go and be sweeped 3/0 by new-jersey or detroit

    theoretical, we still have chancess
small, but there are. the better q would be, do we need to make the playoffs? no, of course, we can't blow this chance to get a high pick, and get thrashed by NJ or detrit in first round

chaney still believes we can actually make the playoffs
"Our guys last year, when they were down, they basically threw in the towel," Chaney said of his 30-52 flops. "This year they still have fight. They get knocked down a couple of times but they get back up. Last year, they were down but stayed down."

yes, but the knicks have a habit to lose against the smaller teams, and win the other games, against much better teams

the bulls are not that bad as their record shows
they have great players, and maybe with a better coach.. who knows... might be back into playoff run again..

It's usually not a good sign when a player quotes a Jim Carrey movie to describe his team's playoff chances, but Allan Houston's description was strangely appropriate.
"If it's a longshot, you've still got a chance," Houston said after the Knicks practiced yesterday. They host the Hawks tonight at the Garden in what could be the last meaningful game of the year. "What was it the woman said in 'Dumb and Dumber?' 'One in a million.' "

Houston laughed, recalling Carrey's loser-like character in the film and knowing his team's likelihood of success isn't much more promising than Carrey's was.

"It's crazy, but you never know," said Houston, who was held to eight points in the team's loss to the Clippers on Saturday. "You can't go into games saying it's over when, mathematically, it's not. I don't even like talking about it."
