Drew Gooden or Joe Smith?

What the hell would we offer Memphis? i'm pretty sure they want to keep their young core.

You should use your memory to remember how we have garbage / overpriced players on this team for the past 8 years - and were repeatedly abused by far worse players than Joe Smith. Save the idea of signing a semi-over the hill but can still contribute player for established playoff teams that need role/bench players. We've had our share. Step your ambitions up!

We should sign Gooden to a vet minimum if we have that available.

He can play the middle, he rebounds and can hit the three, which in this offense is a plus.
