Eh? The quality's HD, homes. It rocks!! If you have a crappy connection it's horrid. Japan's DL speed is 8mb/s. And just to rub it in,, I bought myself a brand new 62 inch telly connected to my laptop for extreme 62 inch pleasure right in front of my drooling face. Mmmmmmmmmm.

Mate there's many many different resolutions of HD :p

It's not true HD I believe last time I used League Pass (about a year ago) it was 480p... Which does not look anything like as good on a 40+ inch LCD as 720 or 1080.

Considering you can download every NBA game for free in at least 720p it just seems like a waste to me!

Every game!? Noooooooo. Really? Btdavka's not that reliable, is it? Never used to be.

I had the same experience when in Germany. Used to have a League Pass account when I was in Germany, because most games where NOT available for (illegal) download.

While I'm in New York I watch them Knicks on MSG.

There's an alternative to Davka, it's http://www.sport-scene.net/
Almost every knicks games are uploaded in high quality...
But it's not open access like Davka, you need to register and upload at least 7GB + have a ratio at or above 0.800 to become a full member and have all access. It's restrictive but worth it !

$219.99 is affordable for me as a college student, working max. 40 hours/month I make $500/month + receive some $600/month from the state to cover my tuition and other study related spendings (books, public transportation, insurance etc.), but I understand that for someone having a full-time job for NY minimum wage every penny counts.

I think it's worth it to pay approx $3/game for HD Knicks on a 62 incher,
especially when you're on the other side of the world.

damn! aside from the Knicks, the Crazy8 porn's gotta rock your c*ck off!

Man that sounds like a lot of trouble to go through with downloading a bunch of games (unless you only mean the Knicks). Yeah, not all the games are in HD, actually most aren't on League Pass due to it being out of market, but it's still enjoyable. I don't like knowing who already won either, so I like to watch games soon before the next day/night on either my DVR or a replay. A lot of times it's hard to avoid knowing who won, but still, I don't the majority of the time and I still want to see a lot of the games anyway.

For the life of me can't understand why people would pay for league pass. The interface is horrible, video quality is not that great and the whole design is just bad. Plus it's extortionate.

Because I have a simple choice. Either subscribe or not see any Knicks. Living in England means tip off time is usually midnight or one am. I cannot watch live so I watch the games the next day. There is no way to do that other than subscribe.

I can download the games from other sources but they are not always reliable. There is no NBA on any TV here in England so the subscription is the only way that I can ever see any NBA.

I will subscribe to the team pass this year to save some pounds.

I've already gotten used to watching games late at night, few hours of sleep before and after the game; I am a night owl and sometimes keep clicking around until 3:00-4:00 AM, so watching my Knicks at night doesn't make any problems.

last year i only watched games that were televised internationally and on illegal streams or D/L'd the games.

It's not ideal, but saving $200+ and still being able to watch the games is cool. Plus that $200 can then be spent on a jersey and shoes.

I wouldn't pay extra for less games either so i understand where you are coming from. It's bullshit that they locked out the teams, the fans etc and now want you to pay more. That shit should come FREE for the season as an apology for the lockout.

The porn is quite the experience, Cool C.

You can even see the little blonde hairs surrounding the chick's mud buttons! It's madness, I tell you!

I think he views the games as porn.

:teeth: HAHAaaaaa. That knocked my shit joke from the other day.

Question: is it possible to use my ILP to watch games through Windows Media Center?
I would like to watch my Knicks on my TV (50" plasma > 17" screen), unfortunately to connect my PC directly to my TV I'd probably need a mile of HDMI cable, so I'd like to do that via Windows Media Center that connects to my X360 (and TV) using LAN...

davka has been very reliable for Knicks games ever since we got STAT. The years before that it was hit and miss but I don't think they missed a single game last year.

It's very easy to get any game on torrents if you know where to look.
