Kiya, joking about the starting lineup but Thibs needs to make some adjustments, including giving IQ and Obi more minutes. Been waiting for IQ to get untracked, kid is a scrapper.
I'm ole-school, Bullocks chemistry with the team last-season would've receive an extension, Burks wouldn't. But now Thibs has to dangle Burks into the starter unit as a 6th man taking Fournier out to give Kemba help-defense.
On the first day of Free-Agency in the offseason the Knicks FO gave a signing offer sheet of $17M per to SG Evan Fournier. What's wrong? He play's the same position as RJ, Burks, and rookie Grimes.
I thought, after the miserable 1-4 playoffs, we learned D.Rose & Taj Gibson leadership is best for the team coming off the bench with our young future star players (Obi & IQ).
We needed a 2-Way playmaker PG to replace Payton in the postseason games to beat the Hawks.
So our first PRIORITY in the offseason for Leon, Perry, Thibs .. were to get the 2021-22 Knicks team a veteran starter PG, that could mesh with RJ Barrett & Randle in the back-court.
We shoulda signed Dinwiddle to $17M to $20M per !!!
