yeah but he is trying to discredit the topic of the post. We are first in blocks, 9th in steals....we are playing pretty solid defense. of course we are gonna be giving up more points than the opponent.....we have a losing record. thats common sense. we are 6 n 8, not 8 n 6. if we averaged more points than our opponent, wouldnt that mean we have a winning record?

Gotcha. Ya, don't really disagree at all. But i guess we could "average" more pts than our opponents, and still have a bad record, we'd just be running a bit unlucky and prolly catch some rough breaks losing a lotta weird close games. But over a longer period of time, ya, if we averaged more points we'd be winners.

It's really not confusing. We run an up tempo offense that creates more possessions per game for both teams. This leads to inflated points per.

trillion just hit you with some maths. we play short shot clocks which increases the amount of possessions for everybody. see we are a share and share alike kind of basketball team
