Knicks waive Ime Udoka

NEW YORK, September 11, 2006 – New York Knickerbockers President of Basketball Operations Isiah Thomas announced today that guard Ime Udoka has been waived.

Udoka, 6-6, 215-pounds, averaged 2.8 points and 14.3 minutes in eight games for the Knicks last season.

He also played for the representative of Nigeria at the FIBA World Cup in Japan, where he averaged 14.2 points and 5.2 rebounds.
