A sign of things to come
  September 24, 2006, 10:35:28
Knicks looking to buyout Mo Taylor. Interesting to see in the news this morning that the Knicks are looking to buyout the contract of Mo Taylor. This comes as no surprise to me. However, it is a sign of things to come.

New York Knicks 2006-2007
  September 01, 2006, 02:47:31
The Knick's season is two months away from debuting and no franchise in the NBA seems to have a wider margin for success and failure at the same time. Will the Knicks who won 23 games last season show up? After Larry Brown pounded this team into the dirt, it isn't hard to imagine a 20-something win season again. But the problem is, no one would have imagined that situation one year ago.

Knicks offers Jared Jeffries a 5 year deal
  July 30, 2006, 12:20:11
The New York Knicks offered two days ago restricted free agent Jared Jeffries of the Washington Wizards a 5 year contract with a starting salary of $5,200,000 for the first year and a total salary of about $30 million. The Wizards have 7 days to match the offer but owner Abe Pollin and president Ernie Grunfield (ex Knick) are interesting in keeping Jeffries. Jared [6-11] played in 77 games last season for his team, averaging 6.4 points and 4.9 rebounds.

The first casualty of stupidity past - Big Mistake
  July 17, 2006, 11:34:47
Past sins are likely to cost us Jackie Butler. In the past money was never a problem, the Knicks made so many stupid deals that it will now cost us one deal we should make. I don't know how many of you out there are Jackie Butler fans, but by the end of last year, he was the Knicks best center. He is only 21, has a lot of upside, and if he were in this past years draft he would have been among the top 5 picks.

Butler signs with Spurs
  July 13, 2006, 02:50:47
Center Jackie Butler, restricted free agent, has signed a three year deal with the San Antonio Spurs for $7 million. The Knicks must match the offer in 7 days if they still want to keep him, else he's as good as gone. Joining the Spurs would be a great opportunity for Jackie, - San Antonio losing both Nazr Mohammed - to free agency and Rasho Nesterovic - traded to Toronto -, as he might start alongside Tim Duncan.
