|Roger Mason signed with the Knicks|
The New York Knicks completed earlier today the signing of ex San Antonio Spur, Roger Mason. The Knicks were initially interested in Lakers' Shannon Brown but his return to a run for a third title with Los Angeles made the trade impossible.
The New York Post reported the Knicks offered Mason a one year $1.4 million contract. Mason is entering his seventh NBA season with the Knicks being his fifth team. Coming from a bad season with the Spurs with a 0.5 ppg in 6 playoff games last season, New York is hoping that the new aquisition will be returning to his previous shape so he can help backing up the point guard position along with Toney Douglas.
Roger Mason is turning 30 this September and has a career average of 7.2 points per game.
