Carmelo Anthony scores 35 points, but it isn’t enough in loss

Amar'e Stoudemire spent the night inside the Knicks’ locker room, presumably receiving treatment on his sprained left ankle, and undoubtedly realizing that the Knicks can't survive very long without him.

 

As well as the Knicks played on New Year’s Eve in Sacramento without their All-Star power forward, they were just as ineffective Monday night against the Toronto Raptors, a lottery team from a year ago that was playing its second game in two nights.
