Anthony wants Garden visitors 'to think twice'

Carmelo Anthony challenged his teammates to stop allowing opponents to strut their stuff on the Garden stage. And it seems as if they listened, because their defense didn’t let Charlotte breathe much in last night’s 91-87 win.

 

Though Anthony, still feeling some effects of his lower-back injury, didn’t have a big offensive night, the Knicks ground out a revenge victory over Charlotte, holding the Bobcats to 31 fewer points than in their win last week at the Garden.

 

“We don’t shoot the ball well against this team for some reason,’’ Anthony said. “We had the will to win and grind it out on the defensive end.’’
