Dwight Howard is trying to force a trade to the soon-to-be Brooklyn Nets while Patrick Ewing is telling his young pupil to be careful what he wishes for.
"Most of the fans will still be Knick fans," Ewing said on Monday. "Brooklyn…it's a great town, a great city. It's New York. But most of the people, just like most of the people who were going to Nets game (when I played for the Knicks) are Knicks fans. So they're going to have their work cut out for them to try to change the culture."
Howard has given Orlando management a list of three teams he'd prefer to be traded to; Nets, Lakers and Mavs. The Magic is trying to convince Howard to re-sign but if the right deal comes along they are not opposed to trading their All-Star center.
