Knicks new point guard sensation Jeremy Lin admitted Friday he was still getting used to the new attention he has been getting and credited media and fans for all the Lin puns going around the city.
“I didn’t know you can turn Lin into so many things,’’ he said at shootaround in Greenburgh. “We’ve never done it before. Me and my family were laughing last night. We underestimated how creative everybody can be.’’
Lin, the undrafted point guard out of Harvard whose $788,000 minimum contract officially became guaranteed Friday, has become an international phenomenon after the Knicks started playing him last Saturday. He’s had three straight sensational outings, lifting the Knicks to a three-game “Linning’’ streak.
