Former Jersey Boy Jason turns Knicks vs. Nets into Kidd's play

The buzzer sounded at Barclays Center Tuesday night and there was Jason Kidd, the old, great Net from their New Jersey days, raising his arms in triumph.

Kidd finally made it to Brooklyn and all he did was give the Knicks a 100-97 win that they have been gunning for since they left Brooklyn last month on the short end in overtime.

So it was a big game for Mike Woodson’s team and not just because the opponents were the Nets, the new guys in town. This was a date the Knicks had circled a few weeks back.
