Mike D'Antoni insisted he wasn't bothered by Larry Hughes' criticism of him, and neither man believes the two sides need to have a chat about the situation. Essentially, the non-communication between the Knicks coach and Hughes will continue. D'Antoni doesn't feel the need to talk to Hughes about his comments or role, and Hughes doesn't think he needs to speak to D'Antoni about his status either. Yesterday, D'Antoni brushed off Hughes' remarks from Sunday, in which Hughes -- who's been pushed out of the rotation -- said the coach doesn't communicate and is playing "mind games" in shuffling him in and out of the lineup.
