Jamal Crawford suffered a sprained left shoulder in the third quarter of Friday night's 97-93 loss to the Spurs.
Crawford, who collided with Matt Bonner, remained in the game but missed all five shots he attempted in the fourth quarter. He also committed a turnover with 21.9 seconds left and the Knicks trailing by one.
Crawford, who recently missed time with an injured hand, had his non-shooting arm X-rayed after the game but the results were not known. He reported feeling some discomfort but remains optimistic he will be available for tonight's game in Houston.
WITHOUT A TRACY: Tracy McGrady remains sidelined with a sore knee, meaning that for the third straight game, the Knicks will be facing a shorthanded opponent. On Wednesday, Sacramento was missing three starters - Mike Bibby, Ron Artest and Kevin Martin. Last night, the Spurs' Manu Ginobili missed his fifth straight game with a sprained left index finger.
