James Dolan Should Have Brought Phil Jackson in as the GM of the knicks.

James Dolan should have considered bringing in Phil Jackson as the new GM of the Knicks.

Think about it for a minute. Phil Jackson retired for a reason. He physically couldn't deal with the coaching aspect of the game anymore (dealing with ref's, flying city to city, player personalities,etc...)

But, if you bring him in as a GM, then he would help build the team. Bird's doing it with the pacers, and so is Pat Riley in Miami.

Phil would then bring in Brian Shaw(acting as head coach for the Knicks), His assistant coach for many years in LA.

Players want to go to teams that have Championship caliber front offices. Because they know that they are capable of building Championship teams.

For Dwight Howard fans

I Read somewhere that Phil Jackson would like to coach Dwight Howard.

So this would have been a great way to Lure Dwight Howard here.

Think about it, Lebron James went to Miami for a reason. Because he knows Pat Riley will put the pieces around him to WIN.

Damn that idea is bad ass to bad Grunweld in the GM but Phil could be the President of Basketball Operations, he did play for New York so he has ties problem is Dolan wouldn't give him full control like Riley or Bird has

The Knicks will be ****ed until Dolan's family purchases that pine box until then we have to deal with shuffling rosters, in and out coaches and bitchy fans adding fuel to the fire

With all the interest in PJax shown here in KO, why was I reading a report today saying Phil Jackson was upset b/c no one called or contacted him after his intention to come back from retirement was made known?

James Dolan should of also not f*cked us New Yorkers over with that BS Time warner vs MSG BS issue...Streaming the Knicks during that period was lame as hell.

Indiana Infatuation

The Knicks front office is like Indiana U.

Donnie Walsh: former GM of the Indiana pacers.
Glen Grunwald: Indiana University

Mike Woodson: Indiana University
Isaiah Thomas: Indiana
