Crawford apparently has NYK on his list (again) and brandon roy wants to return if smith opts out we could use either of them as our 6th man Crawford would prolly want more money but maybe hed wanna come here for less and roy i feel is a low risk high reward kinda thing... Thoughts?

I'd take a chance on Roy.

Crawford will probably be offered a significant amount of more money from another team, so I don't think he'll be returning next season.

I read a article about Crawford having us on his radar earlier, but yeah he's just using us "Again" Everybody is on the knicks radar, that's why i just stop posting these kind of things until July 1st "ray allen, Lamar odom, Fisher, Crawford etc etc. Theres a new guy on the radar every week lol. Some players didn't want to come here when we had a full MLE Last season, now these guys want to come here for vet min? because if we lose the "Lin,Novak birds right case" that's all these players are getting and i just cant picture half these guys sitting in knicks jerseys for vet min (maybe fisher) or (Odom)<-- if he sincerlly wants to be here and back home.

As far as crawford, i wouldn't mind giving him a look if JR opts out. Both these players are inconsistent "JR is probably more streaky" "Crawford is the better ball handler" I rather have JR though because he's younger and plays much better defense (minus those stupid fouls he commits while players are attempting shots.)

As far as Brandon Roy goes, i think he's going to have to prove himself. The guy ain't been in the NBA in awhile and has bad knees, i mean if he's still mobile and can spare you decent minutes i guess we could give him vet min. I really don't know though i haven't seen him in action since the injury. If he's good to go why not?

Over or under --- when and if Brandon Roy makes it back -- will he basically be the same as the broken down version of Penny Hardaway we saw with the Knicks or will he be better, something closer to what he was before?

We need low maintinence/effecient role players not any more big names or former All Stars.

I am for known players who do intagiables like Camby and Odom, but we need to avoid these "sexy" names just for the sake of sounding good on paper!

Lin
Shump
Melo
Stat
Chander

This is our starting 5 for better or worst, so we need to fill out our bench responsibly

Backup Center for Tyson (hence Camby)
a PF/SF backup (Odom)
solid backup PG (not totally sure)

But w/ JR Smith likely coming back, there is absolutley no need for either one of these guys (Roy or Crawford).

:gony:

If Roy joins Dolan will have to cough up for a full time knee specialist for AmarKNEE & Co.

Roger Hinds will not be able to handle it...

lmao.

I would take Roy over JR any day if he stayed healthy. Great ball player and less likely to get in trouble off court for stupid ****.
