Rambis isn't even mentioned in this article. He's got both of the most important things PJ mentioned about the next head coach that he wants. Someone that believes in system bball (triangle) and someone he can communicate with.

Thibs got called out for his lack of communication with the Bulls front office, that's going to be a big deal with him getting hired by PJ.

Mark Jackson is the best head-coach for the Knicks ...

Steph Curry were more of a SG with terrible PG skills n decision-making leading the point, until two years of Mark Jackson being his head-coach.
Mark Jackson showed Klay Thomas how to compliment Curry talent at PG and the tandem backcourt of Curry n Klay started making big noise in the league to make the playoff n get pass the first round.

No one ever heard of Reggie Miller until Mark Jackson became his PG on the Pacers while still leading the league in assist.
Mark Jackson rookie season with the Knicks is the season Patrick Ewing started making big noise in the league with WINS.

Rightfully so. He is not a guy who seems to be interested in developing players. With the situation at our hands I'd give KP, Grant, Jimmer, O'Quinn etc. a maximum of burn. Does he really think we are going to make the playoffs? I'm not talking about tanking, what is to be gained from that?
If you have multi-dimensional player like KP and a coach want to turn him into something which he is not (one-dimensional), it should be a red flag.
