The Knicks had wanted young shooting guard Landry Shamet, but they turned down one proposed offer that included 2019 draft choices, Mifondu Kabengele and Tarance Mann.
Mifondu Kabengele was another player I think we should have drafted instead of taking RJ. This kid is build somewhat like Paschall and would fit the PF position we need.
Now who will the Knicks cut if they keep all three?

Would have like to have gotten Harrell in this trade. A backup to MRob.

That was never an option even had we included Robinson and RJ. Clips were never going to entertain this. I respect what Morris did while here but he was no better than Al No Sharrington if we're being honest. His half season got us what we needed, to another phase in the rebuilding process

Look for RJ to move to the SF with the trading of Morris. Maybe they will give Dotson back his starting SG job that he never lost.
Looks like IT will be waived in the deal.Forest Hills own Moe Harkless returns to NYC. Not the scorer Mook is but our D got better. Clips got IT too, don't see why Doc would want him, he's not shoring up anything in a playoff push.
