Did anyone notice we are no longer the Highest Paid team in the League

We are dollar for dollar the most underacheiveing. Ok so as I looked over our cap I realized how much the Randolph trade really wasn't a good move. I like Zach he's putting up All Star numbers for us, but from a cap stand point the move makes no sense. If IT is fired this may be the move that haunts us after he's gone, and lets not forget we still owe Pheonix a pick too that is unconditional in three years because of Steph. IT may be on his way out but his impact may be present for years to come

Some History

In January 2004, when Isiah acquired Marbury, he gave up, among other things, both a 2004 first round pick and a "future" first round pick. Phoenix later traded those two first round picks to Utah. Utah slected Kirk Snyder with the 2004 first round pick - #16.

The "future" choice has yet to come into play because it is protected until 2010. It was top 24 protected for the 2007 draft; is top 23 protected for the 2008 draft; and top 22 protected for the 2009 draft. It is unprotected for 2010. It looks like Utah will have our first round pick in 2010

If we was to reverse Isiah Thomas Knick Record we Knick-Fans would be Happy Campers. This is what we expected at his arrival, and what his unlimited privledge had the chance to do:

185-116 since Thomas arrived,
58-36 since he became the head coach,
24-7 since he received a contract extension.
And getting to the second round of the Playoffs (Because Laydumb did leave Isiah with a roster that was going to the Playoff).

With all the unlimited spending of money that G.M. Isiah Thomas was given since his arrival, and all the Star Free-Agents he had a chance to get to rebuild this Knick Team like Nash, Finley, Rasheed, Lewis, and alot of others if he would have let the Knicks 6 final year contracts end and walk his first year and a half on the Job (with 3 more ending contracts comming in the next two seasons). Not to mention all the Knicks Buy-Outs Isiah made after Shannon Anderson.
And the NBA Stern "Allan Houston Buyout Clause", Isiah should've bought-out Allan Houston and grabbed hold of the NBA underatted Super Star Finley (He has been 100% better than Crawford NBA career since Finley's rookie season with Phoenix).
