K Thomas for N8 and Jefferies!!!

Possibly going down and would save another $6.8 million for 2010! This would let us sign Lee and TWO MAX PLAYERS IN 2010!!!!

Do it Donnie!

http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_a..._offer_to_take_jeffries_in_exchange_for_nate/

he Kings have offered Kenny Thomas to the Knicks for Nate Robinson and Jared Jeffries, sources tell ESPN. Jeffries is slated to make $6.8 million for 10-11, which would make re-signing David Lee difficult given New York's plans to sign two max free agents in 2010.
Thomas is set to make $8.7 million next season.
This final deal, if completed, would make for a rare hat trick: the Knicks' third trade on the day that the NBA trade deadline will pass.

The Knicks have again rejected the Kings in their most recent attempt to pry away Nate Robinson by taking on Jared Jeffries, in a trade that would have sent Kenny Thomas to New York.

bad move

say it ain't so. the concept of trading good players like David Lee and/or Nate, just to clear space or save a million here or there for 2010 does NOT make sense! let's chill out on trading Jeffries and Curry for now. Pay Nate and David Lee and we've got a team a superstar will respect in 2010. great moves getting Hughes and Wilcox, excellent moves ridding the bench of scrubs and lard. NATE >>>>>KENNY THOMAS

The Knicks are Back
again we dont need 2 superstars, if we get greedy we'll walk away empty handed, its like atlantic city, you win and you got more then what you entered with, then you go all in and you lose everything......

.....i almost had a heart attack but when the knicks rejected i got happy.

right so lets resign them both.it's either one or the other.WE WILL NOT BE A CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDER WITH JUST THEM.we need more than that.freeing up the salary cap will help us with that.
the salary cap is going down.who in their right mind trade for curry? who?

It would be non-sense to trade Nate right now, we're fighting for a spot in the playoffs and we still might re-sign Nate.

We have a whole year to get rid of one of our two bad contracts, why rush and lose a significant piece of this team?

how will we be able to trade those guys, without giving up lee or nate?
i want nate to stay.he's the sixth man.he's our ginobli.
I'm more prone to trading lee.we won't be able to do much if curry's stank ass if he isn't packaged with one of them.

i was watching sportscenter special just bfore, and marc stein almost gave me a heart attack when i heard this trade. its one thing to get some talent back but kenny thomas???? nate is just to much of a fan favorite to trade him for a scrub. especially after we make two deals that point to the fact that we wanna make the playoffs this year. im so glad donnie didnt pull the trigger
