this season was so sickening for so many reasons... once the Knicks' season ended, I found it hard to post anything positive here; as I watched Marbury the Celtic putting up 8 points in 2 minutes in game one last night... these lame thoughts continually go thru my head:
No-D'ant never came out and said what his problem with Marbury was, or what "other" direction he was going in (50 loss season?), he did not communicate with Walsh, and refused to play Marbury, thus rendering any hopes of trading him moot. It was No-D'ant's smug a-holism that prevented Marbury from playing, a power trip with no rapport. If No-D'Ant wanted Stephon to play, he could have talked him into it, like a real coach. Instead, he said: "Oh, you don't FEEL like playing? well, go F- yourself, and sit on the bench all season." I blame No-D'ant TOTALLY for the Marbury fiasco... Stephon was ready to play, and should have gotten action. period. As Chicago, Toronto and Miami traded hi-quality players back and forth, the Knicks sat their best player, paid him $20Mill for a full season, and let him walk to play for a championship team. Amazing how he fits in with a real squad...
:boohoo:
As I watched Noah and Thomas do all the things big men are supposed to do for Chicago, I thought, "damn, both those guys coulda been Knicks if it wasn't for Isiah Thomas and Eddy Curry". And we lose ANOTHER pick in 2010 because of these 2 lame-o's. grrrrrr!!!
Damn Eddy Curry, that fat lazy fruit, cheated on his wife, got mixed up with his ex-con driver, and cheated Knick fans out of a full season. He adopted Jerome James bench attitude and did not get into shape. Eddy Curry has a loser attitude and needs to go. NOW they hire a personal trainer for him? NOW? the best they're gonna get is all offense and no defense... perfect for a No-D'ant team!
Speaking of which:
No-D'antoni = no defense. a smug a-hole whose offense first, defense last is a losing proposition from day 1. Now that the season's over, we still don't have a big man, and it hurts to think that Brook Lopez coulda been a Knick. Will the Big Cock grow in spurts and make me eat my words?... I can only wish... No-D'ant is responsible for this p(r)ick, I highly doubt any other coach would have used the 8th pick for a non-US player.
David Lee and/or Nate will be gone come next season no matter how you look at it. After years of paying so much money for NOTHING (Lenny Wilkins, Larry Brown, Anushka Brown, Stephon Marbury, Jerome James, Eddy Curry), NOW the Knicks have to tighten their belts and hope and pray for MVP Lebron James to save the day? At this point, I agree neither Dlee or Nate are worth 8-10 Mill, well maybe Lee, but the point is, both players are fantastic role players and will fit right in with a championship caliber squad. I wish both of them luck, I think they'll both thrive with a real contender, something the Knicks won't be for at least another year or two or five. Watch them burn the Knicks in the future.... Walsh: "hey, we got away with paying them $5 million each for 3 years, this is no time to reward great play"
That's about it. I hate No-D'antoni, I hate his brother and his greasy hair assistant, they all share the same smug holier-than-thou attitude, they're not New Yorkers and they don't believe in defense. They are losers.
then again WTF do I know? rant rant rant:2cents:
PS: the best part of watching the Knicks this season...
