At the end of the day...

The Knicks got nothing they wanted or focused on getting (Curry, Rubio, Evans, Flynn.)

This draft was an epic fail from that perspective.

The NBA has it in for us. No team wants the Knicks to succeed.

calm down, trades are nowhere near done. Donnie Walsh doesn't like to rush things so he will get a good deal. I trust Donnie with whatever he does, great guy

What pisses me off is that we were mislead all along....

Who woulda actually thought that Jordan Hill would get selected. My jaw literally dropped and I threw shit across the room...LOL

Then you pass on Blair, Green, Buddinger for this other guy I have no idea is who...

Plus we wasted a 2011 2nd rounder for him. Sounds real Isiah like to me...

just when you think the franchise is turning for improvement..

We didn't even trade for Sergio Rodriguez. Sacramento did. Complete disappointment. I'm beginning to think this franchise is cursed.

Does anyone think we even improved from this morning?

I sure as hell don't.

Hill is a weak ass post up big man. He was sloppy in the NCAA - imagine how much fun NBA vets will have putting him in knots.

We passed up on Jennings and Lawson and Holiday. Guys who showed at least some promise.

Hill is the 3rd best big man option in a draft full of guards. That alone says a whole lot.

I don't know who this Toney guy is. But to pass up Blair?

Think about it: we could've drafted Jennings and Blair.

Knicks GM Fail yet again.

Jennings

When Rubio, Flynn and Curry were gone, I was hoping we would pass on Hill and take a chance on Jennings.

We need a point guard. Something else is going to happen.

there has to be something else being worked on here, at least when free agency comes around in a couple of weeks... but then again, thats what I thought last year and Donnie stayed put at one pick.

Im definitely not convinced on Hill, but I like the Toney Douglas pick. The kid is made for this offense and will become a fan favorite very quickly, may even make us forget nate if he ends up playing elsewhere.

this thread makes me want to throw up. typical typical typical.

wahhhh Walsh stinks. D'Antoni sucks. we cant draft. we are cursed. SHUT UP.

do you know anything about Hill? do you recognize what a good move it is to buy a pick and then pick Douglas? or how about how were working on tradin for Rubio? or better yet how interested Jason Kidd is in us? or once Amare is traded how Nash will prob demand a trade... hmm to where?

look at the bigger picture. or better yet take a deep breathe.. use the other tab you are using for porn and look up Hill and Douglas. then get back to me.

Man I'd take Rubio, Evans or Curry over Nash or Kidd right now.

You're talking about a bunch of old geezers who have maybe 2-3 seasons left in the tank.

That is not a good look. Didn't we learn from all those other horrendous deals we took on this past decade. Starting from Glen Rob to Steve Francis.

Please....

I'll take a promising stud like Rubio, Evans or Curry for the next 8 years than a 2 year rental.

Nash will not be in NY by any means, not if Kerr is steering the ship. He's already about to bend us ass backwards - again - and trade Amare to GS for Steph Curr.

J. Kidd is worthless at this point.

once again we dont look at the bigger picture.. if we get rubio. or any point guard for that matter.. who would you like to mentor them? Nate Robinson? Chris Duhon? no... you'd like Nash or Kidd correct? we need a veteran running the ship at the moment so when we DO get a pg prospect they'll have someone to work with. and furthermore what looks more pleasing to you if you were say Wade or James or even Bosh... Duhon? Robinson? or... Kidd or Nash?

is this draft the best in history? NO not at all. EVEN if we got Rubio or Curry. the draft was thin. actually it was deep with mediocre players for that matter.

does Walsh need to go? no. does the world end if we dont get Rubio? no. but i think it'd soothe your minds if you actually did homework AND looked up Hill/Douglas. NOT WRITTEN WORD. BUT GAME FOOTAGE OR EVEN HIGHLIGHTS

Hill is a dradle top.

I was embarrassed with the rerun highlights ESPN was running after he got picked. Dude was just sloppy and flopping around the court like a fish on sand.

Think Bosh but with no solid footwork. He looks like a total chucker too something along the lines of Vaerjao.

If ya thought Balkman was bad...HA! Wait till you get a load of Hill.

I like Hill but he was not what we needed in this draft. We needed the PG....

Hopefully we won't sign another Roberson this offseason... :boohoo:

if this is our roster on opening night then ill have issues, but as of now im not going to cry about anything, I mean hill is highly touted, and truly was the best player available, jennings is a punk, and ty lawson I really dont feel that Mike D got because I would have to assume we are going to trade for a pg this summer. if that does not happen then i may be upset, but truly we have to relax on this, you guys love to whine and its not even opening night yet, whine then, for now be productive and discuss what steps donnie should take next, as opposed to object to what he did tonight with limited resources.
