Player Notes:

F Jared Jeffries saw his playing time take a major cut with just 3:27 against the Warriors. He did not play at all in the second half.

C Darko Milicic ended a run of consecutive games with a DNP-CD (Coach's Decision) when he checked into the game in the third quarter. Milicic was scoreless in 4:44.

G Chris Duhon came dangerously close to a second straight game without a field goal?and his fourth of the season?until he hit his final shot, a three-pointer, with 4:10 left in the game to finish 1-for-7.

"The next three days are going to be important to find a group that I want to go with," he said of the four-day break between games.

D'Antoni does have one option to add between now and Wednesday's game in Indiana: center Eddy Curry. Now noticeably slimmer and in shape, Curry will be worked into the rotation during this break in the schedule although it remains to be seen if he can be a factor.

Four years ago, Curry averaged a career-high 19.5 points per game and seven rebounds per game, but he did so in a much slower system that featured him as the go-to scorer. D'Antoni's challenge is to see if Curry, who has lost as much as 60 pounds since last season, can be an effective pick-and-roll player and, of course, run the floor.

Medical Report:

G Nate Robinson returned after a five-game absence with a sprained right ankle.

C Eddy Curry (calf) went through two practices this week and is expected to make his season debut in the next game, Wednesday at Indiana.

Nice thread JPZ...im not sure how this is our year...maybe you mean its our year to have the worst record in the NBA? I think we have a legitimate shot, i consider the Nets and Grizzlies to have more talent then us.

Why is it that every player on the team ignores Danilo whenever he is open?

Guys true shooting percentage is like 60% and they ignore him.

Oh, and nice watching DLee and Chandler stand around in the pain and not box out. How many offensive boards have they allowed so far? A shitload...

Did Wilson Chandler seriously think he could get that pass in to Eddy?

Seriously?

Oh, and I'm actually surprised by Eddy Curry's rebounding and tips. Guy used to be so fat he could only get like 3 inches off the ground.

Curry looks fine. As long as he plays like he's been playing for these 3 or 4 minutes he should be able to be traded by the deadline.

Funny funny Knick game.....the main players are still not showing any effort for Dantoni.

The Indiana Pacers are leading the Knicks with a 18 point lead.....last night when the Pacers played the Nets their largest lead over the Nets were 11 points.
Are the Knicks worst than the Nets?

Eddy Curry is sure making a big difference....to bad we dont have a bigman coach to guide him this game...

Finally! Good win against a hot team that has won 5 in a row.

Maybe....just maybe....we can get a little win streak going with Curry playing. Then trade him. I wouldn't care if we didn't win another game. If Curry is traded for an expiring contract this was a successful season.

Curry wasn't that bad for not playing in ages.

10 pts and 4 boards in limited time. Drew 4 fouls and shot 75%.

Only problem is the turnovers.
