New Orleans have far better options than taking on Curry. They need to save money by commencement of next season. As has been said on here recently, Dallas can trade Dampier's team option to NO which they can automatically waive.

I like it...

BUT

Tyrus Thomas should be a starter

He has great numbers averaging only 20 plus minutes...its his time to shine.

If we sign Tyrus Thomas we have some problems.

He's good enough to be a starter. Where does he start? Too small to play C, David Lee/Chris Bosh will be playing PF...where does he go?

If he were 3 inches taller then it'd be a no brainer.

Tyrus Thomas performs like a big SF, and when played as a big SF he brings in great results.
Is Tyrus Thomas a better starting SF than Wilson Chandler or Harrington? hell no! but he is a better starting SF than Gallo.

He can get 25 min off the bench like Al Harrington did

OR

We can just have the James-Bosh combo and put Tyrus as a undersized but good defensive Center.

its not that bad...we'd still be a playoff team...but in my opinion Tyrus should be a starter with the numbers he puts up off the bench.

The only thing that can keep Thomas from being here is his bad attitude which Mike D would hate from the start.
