I hear all this talk about the trade to GSW. What would it take to get each player? Has there been any word of WIlson getting shipped out or Eddy Mcflurry? Is it Dlee for one of them straight up?
Any way here is my take. I want Monta Eliis. I would be happy with Anthony Randolph dont get me wrong but I think we need ellis more. I mean you talk about LBJ being the main ball distributor, and Ellis is really a two gaurd who has a good enough PG skill set to handle the ball at times when LBJ isint handling the ball. He makes 11 mill a yr flat out. I like him because now we have 2 guys who are GREAT at driving to the rim in LBJ(assuming he comes) and Monta Ellis. We have a great shooter and improving driver in Gallo, we have A powerful low post presence in Amare, a 3 pt specialist in rautins, a solid back up PG in TD, and Wilson Chandler is a unreal 5th option.
PG: Monta Ellis, Tony Douglas-That is a great combo, they can play off the ball with LBJ handling it. TD is a great defender and Monta has all pro potential.
SG: Wilson Chandler, Bill Walker, Andy Rautins-Wilson Chandler has a very nice game to blend in with the starting 5, not selfish, and as a 5th option this is unreal. At 6'8 is a mismatch, he isint a great 3 pt shooter but we have SOLID backups and better long range shooting depth in BW and Rautins.
SF-LBJ,Landry Fields-THE KING!!PLEASE COME TO NY.
PF-Gallo, Amare/WC?-Ethier way Dantoni made a living in Phoenix by using Sean Maarion at PF, now Gallo is 21, can shoot lights out 3, and is improving athletically and can drive better, huge mismatch, and at 6'10 is a nice height presence.
C-Amare, Earl Barron, Jerome Jordan-Amare is the man, enough said.
1.LBJ
2.Amare
3.Gallo
4. Monta Ellis
5. Wilson Chandler
6.Tony Douglas
7.Bill Walker
8.Earl Barron
9. Andy Rautins
Those 9 should contribute, that is a scary and well balenced 9. Anyone disagree with getting ellis? and how great does that lineup sound?...
