FWIW: disparate opinions among gms, agents, league HQ officials today about where LeBron is going, but consensus on 1 thing: it's not Mia.

Unofficial Bucher poll results of those I've spoken to today: 4 for Cle, 3 for NY. Not sure why Chi got no love but it didn't.

How can he say there is a consensus that its not Miami when every report from everywhere says it is? Even though he may go somewhere other than Miami the consensus is definitely Miami right now...

Reason for skepticism: LBJ wd be 3rd-highest paid, it's Wade's town, brand unquestionably tarnished, still at least a yr away from title.

Boys, its all speculation and hype. Even if he IS going to Miami, they need everyone wondering so we will watch his ridiculous dog and pony show on espn. I almost want to not watch it and just google the results.

If he comes here, i will be have to like him, if he goes elsewhere, it wont be hard to hate him.

Alright, so no real reason besides his skepticism of the Miami Heat, and no real sources?

He claims he spoke to seven "sources." 4 said Cleavland and 3 said NY.

I do not think that as well!

To me its not over till its officially over. How is Donnie leaving town. On a town when if LeBron does to come to the Knicks he still has to make trades for Lee( which is not decided). This team is still not set. The off season is far from over for the Knicks. And he plain decides to bolt.

Or is he the head of the receiving committee for LeBron and wanted to explain his plane ride ?

well considering there is no income tax in Miami, the money would roughly be the same as in NY

He's global now, so LeBron figures to make his money through China

Make your money through China - by placing yourself in areas where international markets will NOTICE you.

Kobe Bryant gets that international exposure because he's from Los Angeles, a major city with all different ethnic groups. And also the 3rd largest Chinese population (hence, the CHINESE market).

Jordan got that through Chicago, also a MAJOR city, a GATEWAY for international flights, a place where people from ALL AROUND THE WORLD go.

Is that Miami? Hell no.

Is that New York? You better ****ing believe it.

He's no where close to as big as Kobe is in China, and like Wingzero said, Miami isn't exactly a place where you'd go if you're looking for an international market. Your gateway to China is winning a ring in NYC, Chicago, or LA.

Or, surprisingly, Dallas and/or Houston.

Or Boston.

Just not Cleveland or Miami
